Perfection in a surprisingly beautiful area
Villa Bayard is absolutely top notch. The property - a truly stunning, completely renovated mansion - was impeccably kept and charmingly appointed; every detail was considered. The grounds were extensive, and included vineyards and stables at its farthest end. We spent two evenings lounging on cozy garden couches, enjoying the late summer sun cast long shadows off the vines, and turn the flecks of dust kicked up by the thud of a lazily dropped hoof into shimmering light. This was made all the more magical by the great wine we were served. And the food at the weekly dinner one can register for! Breakfasts were as beautiful as delicious, exquisite in taste and presentation. In sum, this villa is a must see, must experience. Memorable, extraordinary, and genuinely special.

Gracious hospitable hosts. Generous breakfast that just did not seem to end. Beautifully decorated rooms. A very comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. A terrace overlooking their vineyard made the scenery complete. Recommended. Will return.

Het ontbijt was super. In het dorpje zelf is niet veel te beleven, maar Maastricht is vlakbij en daar is altijd wel wat te beleven
De verduistering van de kamer kan zeker beter, maar het is waarschijnlijk niet makkelijk om iets te vinden dat bij de stijl van de kamer past.
