Good trip and exceptional value for money

Great stay.

Sam the owner was great, always smiling. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was spot on with many options. Yoghurt, fruit, cereals, full English,tea, coffee and fresh orange and apple juice.

The parking. But that isn't the fault of the b&b. If you have a disabled badge you can park in the permit holders bay but you need a notice in the window which you get from the owner. Also free parking in the nearby car parks.

Exactly what you want from a guesthouse

I found the room clean, comfortable and quiet and the owner extremely friendly and hospitable, The breakfast was excellent too. The location of the guest house will allow you to explore a good part of Weymouth on foot. I read all the positive reviews on here and the cunard absolutely lived up to them.

It was a lovely clean room and the food was lovely. A full English with toast, juice,coffee and cereal. There was also fruit and yoghurt, if you had room for it all. The room had plenty of heating as our stay was in February. Can't fault it and would come again.

Not really that much of a negative. But as the weather wasn't always so great It was a bit of a walk to where the car was parked as there's no parking near to our guest house. But it wasteally a bother except when it rained.

Could not fault a thing! We were made extremely welcome from the second we arrived at the property by Sam who gave us some great advice/tips on where to go and see. We were given a few ‘free parking’ options and parking permits if required for our stay which is very rare in Weymouth. We were shown to our room and found it absolutely, spotlessly clean, warm and cosy with all the amenities you could ask for from a guest house. Perfect location as literally a minutes walk from the esplanade and although it being a rowdy / busy Saturday night, never heard a sound and had a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast - Excellent! My partner and I stay in hotels / guest houses all over the country throughout the year including many visits to Weymouth and this has to be one of the very best we have come across. Superb value for money! These guys obviously have a passion for what they do and it shows. Will 100% visit again. Keep it up guys!

Lovely stay at Cunard Guest House was made to feel very welcome

Cunard Guest House is lovely it’s in a great location. Breakfast was so good and a very generous helping. My room was very clean and comfortable and the use of a little fridge in the room was really handy. Sam the owner was so friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely stay again.

We had a very happy two night stay

Fantastic, really personable

Fab b&b

Fab place - everything was clean and fresh and the bedroom was comfortable. I was in the single which was small but warm, well laid out and had a nice bed and good shower. Lots of thoughtful little touches (even a mint on the pillow!) and very friendly owner, went out of his way to be helpful during my stay. I've stayed at a lot of b&bs this year and this was by far my favourite.. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. It was great value for money and would definitely return if we go back to Weymouth again

We liked the fact that the guest house was in close proximity to the seafront and town. The host was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the attractions and area. The cooked breakfast each morning was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Our room was spotless.

The bed was a bit soft, but that’s a personal preference.

A PERFECT STAY

Nothing to dislike, the owners were very warm and welcoming, absolute lovely people. The breakfast to me was right up there as been the best ive had, the produce was top quality and you get fried bread, ive never had fried bread in a B&B. I LOVE FRIED BREAD. Whenever im in the area of Weymouth in the future, I will always stay with these guys at the Cunard. Loved my stay guys and sorry to leave.

Charming

Very clean B&B with a charming host. I was a single traveller and therefore had the small single room as expected. The bed wasn't the best but it was only 1 night and otherwise it's a great place. Good breakfast with great service.

Exceeded expectations

Host was extremely helpful and advised on recommendations for food/drink. Also upgraded our room where it wasn’t so busy which was lovely! Room was extremely clean and bed very comfortable , nice little bathroom too! Very happy with our stay.

Ever so slightly out of the town centre, about 15 min walk max. Wouldn’t say this was an issue especially for us as we liked the walk.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Cunard and I am planning to return next year.

The owner went the extra mile. He made me very welcome and could not have been more helpful in making sure that I had an enjoyable stay. My room was very clean and I had a very good breakfast on both days of my stay. Very close to the town, railway station, bus stops, sea front and good places for evening meals.

I was a lone traveller walking the South West Coast Path and Cunard was ideal.
