Could not stay there

We did not stay at the apartment. It was unbearably hot with poor ventilation, we were not aware of the steepness and narrowness of the stairs, when we booked, and the apartment was poorly equipped. The Lichen apartment was definitely not what we thought we booked using booking.com. It was described as a classic quadruple room, with an inner courtyard view. It was not suitable for 4 people nor was there a courtyard view. The note about access was incorrect, the restaurant Le Breard no longer exists.

Situated in the heart of Honfleur. The must-visit small town. Nice design of the room. Historical little building, charming.

Mold on the floor in the shower. I guess it will be removed easily. Sad that we had to see it.

location was excellent

the first what we noticed while entering our room was a cigarette smell. it was not coming from just an occasional smoker because e.g. the sofa bed had this smell in itself. such a pity and a huge spoiler to this otherwise very comfy and well-furbished and decorated place. We reported the smell to the landlady and she reacted quickly by putting some sprays. it was better for a little but the smell was still there. unless they wash all the fabrics it will not go away. for smokers this is not a problem but for us it was a massive issue. horrible really. pity

Nobody answered on servicephone when the entry-code does not open the door ... stress in night ! Later, another guest in house has helped us. Very nice and clean Apartment, but... The heating element was hot all night, because there was no thermostat to shut it. Lots of noises in night , suddenly very loud gargling noise in the heating element, several times there was a noise of rolling stones in the lightwell, also noises of animals in the lightwell.

i felt very welcomed and comfortable during my stay, and was so happy to be in short walking distance to everything cool

close to the heart of the best part of the city. walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, and the boats. it was private and easy to access. there was a Nespresso machine!

We love Honfleur and Le Six makes it very much more accessible.

We've stayed with these folks at least three times. The location is PERFECT!! The welcome is always pleasant. The room is very nice and is a superb price performer in a town where rooms can get pricey. Parking isn't too close but that is the nature of the town. Parking is easy to find but a short walk. Le Six is a treasure.

This place is a treasure and could do very little to improve. The curtains in our room that acted for privacy from the plumbing facilities could have been a little shorter and would have hung better. THIS IS CERTAINLY NO BIG DEAL! Keep things mostly as they are.
