Awesome Stay on San Augustinillo Beach

The location is excellent, right on Playa San Agustinillo and IMHO on the best section of the beach. Lounge chairs were great, restaurant excellent and service was great.

The family room I first obtained was not great -- too close to the street and open, so misquitos and noise come in easily. Thankfully i was moved to a better room after 1 night.

Location was excellent right on the beach, short walk to town of Mazunte. Lots of restaurants near by. Room was clean, food was good and staff were excellent

We were in a cabin next to the road and it’s an open air place so I found it quite noisy. Ear plugs help. Also no hot water so we took our showers in the afternoon when it was hot. No A/C has a single fan in the room so quite warm in the room at night

I loved the cabins and the small foot baths outside. The location in San Agustinillo is perfect with walking distance to a lot of small restaurants and shops as well as Mazunte. Great place!

The cabin we stayed in was quite close to the road and was a bit noicy which we didn't know beforehand. But overall super nice.

A marvellous stay

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed, we had a lovely room with a gorgeous view. The property is on the beachfront and is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food at the restaurant was also great! I would definitely come back here and had a wonderful stay

Convenient location right on the beach and remember there is no AC

So close to the ocean, beautiful.

We had some sewage problems in our room. They did try fixing it, but did not help. The sink was dripping water and made our floor super slippery. We resolved the problem by placing a mat under the sink after they tried fixing it once, we didn’t want to bother again.

Everything was perfect. The room was perfectly outfitted and adorable. Bed & pillows comfortable. Decor was calming and lovely. Room smaller than most but who cares. The accordion doors opened up to the ocean, with a lovely personal patio. Also, someone is on site 24 hours for security, which meant only closing doors to sleep. No need for a larger room. It felt very cozy with doors closed, not stuffy. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower with pebbles under feet felt wonderful. Having room service on my front deck was divine. The little beach side cafe was precious. Food was hit or miss but who cares! The ambience and friendliness of staff was pure perfection! I will absolutely return. In fact, I probably won't want to stay anywhere else. Best mojitos of my entire month long journey. Only steps to the sea...

I wish you would change your description to depict fact that WiFi only works in certain areas. I had forgotten that, despite seeing it in reviews. Description makes it seem as if WiFi is available. It's actually only available in a very small perimeter on interior of courtyard. Not even available at the cafe. I was on vacation so it was fine for me but remote workers need to know this, prior to a surprise. I had a wonderful breakfast and a wonderful lunch but the simple veggie pasta I ordered for dinner was truly lousy. Sorry to say it. Everything else was perfect! Good coffee. Fantastic service. Nice people. Just one bad meal & spotty WiFi. I'll take it! I only mention the challenges because you're so close to perfect, thought you'd want to know. Thank you for asking.

Truly a dream!

Everything was perfect! This was truly the best place I’ve ever been. The accommodation, the people, the food, the beach and the sea you can walk straight into—amazing! Definitely a solid ten and highly recommended. We booked five days, but it turned out to be far too short.

These well cared for palapas are located right on the beautiful beach in a traditional, small fishing village. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely return again.

This is unrelated to the hotel, but did impact our experience- so we want you to be informed... As someone from Mexico, please be aware that the Taxi service in front of the hotel (which is not affiliated with the hotel, but do park right in front) overcharge (significantly) and were extremely aggressive with our driver when our friend's taxi service came to pick us up. We are letting you know as we imagine it would be the same with Uber or any other service that is not their own.

A beautiful, rustic place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature.

We loved our stay! Waking up to the birds and the sound of the waves was very magical. We slept so good and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the shower and bathroom layout/design and stone work! The facilities were great and we loved the hammocks for our mid day snooze during the hottest part of the day.

Un Sueño Cabañas del Pacífico is an excellent choice to stay if we want to be right on the beach! The staff are lovely, there are lot's of options and areas for relaxing, and it is very convenient to have a restaurant right there. The stay is more rustic than a hotel - no AC, sand inevitable will get in your room, the rooms are 'open air' so you will hear wildlife and waves, but I loved all these aspects!

Great location, but details matter

Rooms are located directly in front of the ocean, giving them the perfect location for hanging out on the beach all day. We really liked the restaurant breakfast options – coffee is super tasty!

Our room could've been cleaner, we found a gigantic cockroach hanging out in the bathroom and it wasn't very pleasant at all. It of course comes with the environment but still, maybe there's something that could be done about that? Also, maybe it was the season but I thought the price is a bit too high for what you get space and quality-wise. Some surfaces in the room were decaying, paint felt old / was peeling off, etc. Little details that ultimately count when you're paying for a not-so-cheap little place.

Neat experience beach stay

Very cool! The cabins are right on the beach with great shared hammock spaces right on the water. The rooms are clean - with fans to try to stay cool on a hot beach day. Staff was helpful - wifi was fast It makes a very cool experience

Beautiful cabana right on the beach!

The location is perfect! So nice to hear the beach from the room and open the doors and step right onto the beach and have this spectacular view. each room has its own hammock and chairs on a little deck. The bed was nice and big and it is surrounded by mosquito netting that is very helpful. There is a very nice shared outdoor area that is shaded and full of hammocks and tables and chairs. And the place offers good food and drinks and will bring them to you while you continue to enjoy the beach :) The staff is all so very kind and helpful and friendly.

The room is rustic so there were some gaps to the outside without insect netting/protection which would have been nice. Also the water pressure for the shower is quite low so it takes a while to clean all the sweat and salt and sand off

great location directly on the beautiful beach and inside the village - close to every point of San Augustinillo; good vibe of the place and helpful, friendly personnel; very nice design of the rooms, bathrooms, garden and cabanas area; comfortable, big beds with mosquito nest; hammocks on each terrace and shared in a shaded space directly on the beach; comfortable connecting apartments for a family / 4 people group - connecting doors inside and shared terrace.

hydraulic system wasn’t working well and we had some issues with a toilet - you have to be prepared for this as this is an eco place without waterworks connection; only cold water under the shower and law pressure

Overpriced eco cabanas at the beach

Cabana directly on the beach, location location location. Nice hammocks to chill. Very nice and helpful stuff. Helped out when we needed them.

Looks better on the pictures than in reality. In my opinion overpriced for "eco" cabanas where you have to refill the toilet flush in advance, same goes for the food they serve.
