Riad Kniza

This property is exceptional! The care and detail of the common areas and rooms was so much more than we expected. We felt like we were royalty with all the rich colors, fine art and palatial sitting areas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we felt like we were treated more like friends than just guests. The food in the restaurant - we had the traditional tanjine - was excellent, and the location of the riad meant that everything - from restaurants and cafes, to the shopping areas, was in easy walking distance. One of the highlights of our stay was Mohammed, the owner of the Riad. He showed us his private museum, with exquisite Moroccan antiques, curated from his years of collecting for his antiques business. He was so passionate and knowledgable about Moroccan history, and shared this info in a beautiful way. We will DEFINITELY come back to Morocco someday, and will definitely stay at Riad Kniza!

I would have to say that everything was really perfect!

It was one of the best experiences that we had in Morocco, for sure we will come back, the attention that they put to make every guest feel welcomed, we also met the owner of the Riad and he welcomed us, the artwork and each time you look into a corner you can see new details of the craftsmanship that was put into this Riad. It’s a must to stay in a riad to get the full experience, I can’t recommend it enough, it was amazing, it’s so quiet inside and calming, opposite to the outside in the Medina. They welcome you with a tea when you enter while they do your check-in, your job it’s just to relax and enjoy your time. You can also take advantage of the Hamam experience or massages that they offer, it’s definitely worth it. The breakfast it’s also quite filling.

We absolutely loved this place and couldn’t be happier!! It was close enough to walk everywhere but far enough to feel private and secluded. It was traditional, beautifully, decorated and clean. Breakfast on the rooftop was so nice and very filling! The staff were exceptional - so welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to help with other things eg we got sick and they helped get medical advice, made special food arrangements and helped get luggage to the main taxi area (as the Riad is not accessible for cars from the main road- you should be aware that you need to walk to and from the Riad for 5 mins on a bumpy road with luggage, before you book)
