I’ve stayed at some of the best hotels in Marrakech, including Royal Mansour and El Fenn, but this place was the most memorable. The riad is beautiful and feels very authentic. You really feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Every room is different, the design is stunning, and you can tell a lot of love and money went into every little detail. Steve, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and kind. His whole team was amazing too. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel at home. We also loved how quiet the riad was. It felt very private and peaceful. We’d definitely recommend the Chameau or Panthère suites.
Honestly, we didn’t have any real complaints. The only thing I’d mention is that this isn’t the place if you’re looking for a huge buffet breakfast, a big hotel, or spending all day in your room watching TV. This riad is all about atmosphere, character, and experiencing the real soul of Marrakech. If that’s what you’re looking for, I don’t think you’ll find a better place.

It is the magic Riad. The Pool area with/without waterfall and huge arches on the wall is making this place N1. Surrounded with peace and quiet and only birds sing is All you can hear! We spent a week in different master suites. All was gorgeous! There were other guests as well but All the magic is that we only met them at the breakfast just couple times. All one week we spent in Riad as a full private even personal were like a shades. Breakfast is very nice. All one need. Very healthy and superb. Same every day but I can have such breakfast All life long! Special shout out to property manager Steve and to All his brilliant team! Bravo. Thank you and see you again! (It’s not American style breakfast and also it’s not a All inclusive style hotel with food TV and animators)

The Riad is stunning and peaceful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Idriss. Nothing was too much trouble. Got a free upgrade. My daughter was ill on last day and they let us keep the room until we had to leave at 5pm.

The building inside was incredibly beautiful, and so peaceful, like an Aladdin's cave behind a random inconspicuous door in some dodgy back street. It had a huge wow factor. It was incredible. The room was gorgeous - but for a honey moon sweet - quite rough and a touch run down - huge holes in the rugs, air conn wasn't that great, some lights didn't work, no remote for the TV, that didn't take from the tradition aspect and opulence of the room - but for the most expensive honeymoon sweet, worth mentioning. The private roof top and jacuzzi was exceptional, as was the deep marble bath and shower.
The breakfast was as basic and at minimum cost to the riad as could possibly be. Nothing to write home about - a small juice, a small glass of yogurt and fruit, scrambled eggs, and then some bread - which wasn't particularly fresh. Each day there seemed to be less to where there no eggs - just bread and yogurt with some chopped fruit. I got the impression the riad was working on a very limited budget for guests - odd considering the price I paid for the room. Id spent a lot of time planning this trip and had took the riads offer up to order a pickup from the airport at a cost, flight details given. And no one to pick us up, I messaged the hotel manager and apparently they had got the wrong day, so we had to wait a while to be picked up. Very disappointing. In his defence we got the transfer for free, however due to them being late - we missed breakfast - and when we asked if there was anything we could eat we were told the kitchen was closed as they had no staff in, after a little persuasion - they made us some breakfast, but felt I shouldn't have needed to push - it should have been offered. Id also been getting messages of the hotel owner asking to cancel the booking reservation and pay them directly, another sign this is a struggling riad. I agreed as I wanted to help them out - however this turned out to be a huge mistake. The manager was constantly messaging me through our stay pestering us to do the cancelation, and it began to feel uneasy and pushy, unlimitedly becoming highly annoying as we only had a few days and this seemed to be consistent, it took for me to lose my patience and ask him to stop messaging me, as it was stressing me out. Man was like a dog with a bone, and it left things fairly awkward. Really not what you want when youre away for a romantic few days with your partner. The riad was beautiful - it just felt like they were running on fumes, with minimal staff and expense at a cost to the guests. I wouldn't return
