Riad Botanica

We had a great stay! The location is very convenient — close to the Majorelle Gardens and the souks, but not too deep in the Medina, so taxis and transfers are easily accessible. The neighbourhood feels safe and local rather than overly touristy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, with excellent communication and great recommendations. They even arranged our airport transfer in the middle of the night. The pool was perfect after hot days in the city, and there’s also a rooftop terrace with sunbeds. Beautiful, photogenic interiors and lovely cosmetics — we liked them so much we bought the same ones in Marrakech 😄

Great rooms and fantastic staff. I was travelling solo and was the only guests but not once did I experience any slacking in service or maintenance. The riad is a bit of a walk from the main square but again, the place is quiet and less congested (does get overstimulating in the main souks). I am a sucker for cleanliness and 10/10 on that. Even though the place is in a by lane, it was super safe and Hamza/Amin were around to escort me to the taxi stands or other places if I needed to (did not need it tbh). The taxi stand is also close-by if you aren’t much for walking around. Dar el Bacha, rooftop restaurants, etc are also close and tour pick up points are 5 mins away.

We loved everything about this place! The room was cozy, the building was clean and beautiful and serene, and the breakfast was lovely!

Nothing really. They had to do a bit of work while we were there but it wasn't a big deal. They also said they had to do it because their riad was open to the outdoors all year around while others aren't. The wirk didn't bother us at all!
