Old world charm with a lovely host.

Old world charm in a great location. The owner, Monika, was an exceptional host who took the time to talk to you and advise about hiking routes or places to visit. Bar area open during the evening to socialise. Felt like being at the home of a relative. Breakfast was lovely.

The host Monica was so nice to us despite not being able to speak English. You can see she really cares about her guests, we even received a little gift and a bottle of wine as we stayed over Easter which was a very nice touch. The location is great for exploring the area and very quiet.

Exceptional

It was a proper Gasthaus with the traditional Gast stube which we wanted. Good service, comfortable bed in a fair-sized roomin a little village on the banks of the Mosel. Just perfect for a couple of days visiting old haunts from the past and drinking some wine!

Parking was difficult because it was the weekend of the annual wine fest.

Het ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk. Werkelijk alles was aanwezig. De gastvrouw was super lief en attent en gaf ons heel goede tips om uitstappen te doen. Dit is echt een héél goed adresje.

Willkommen in einer anderen Zeit!

Die unglaubliche Herzlichkeit und Wärme der Gastgeberin. Hier ist nichts aufgesetzt oder antrainiert. Die Unterkunft ist urig, was aber a den Fotos schon erkennbar ist. Die Lage ist gut, es ist ruhig, weil kein echter Hotspot und die Hauptstraße ist auch ausreichend entfernt. Danke auch für die tollen Tipps, für Unternehmungen und wann man was am besten angeht! Unsere kleine Auszeit war rund rum gelungen und einfach toll!
