Lovely small hotel on the Moselle River.

The room was a good size and had a lovely view of the river from our window. The bathroom was a little dated, but the room was a good value for the money and we had plenty of space. The breakfast was a typical German breakfast buffet. Briedern is a very quiet village in late October, so there was not much going on at all. If you want nightlife or things to do in the afternoon, this is not the place to stay. It is, however, a good base if you have a car or a bike.

We were looking forward to visiting the hotel's cellar bar after dinner. Unfortunately, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke when we opened the door made us immediately turn around. A definite disappointment.

great location. nice size room, large comfortable bed. breakfast was good. staff were friendly.

the large continental pillows are not very comfortable and also felt plasticy... there was no coffee machine in the room although the image on booking showed a nespresso machine.

Weinhaus Lenz - a lovely hotel in a lovely wee village

Lovely location and a lovely village too - much smaller than nearby Cochem and therefore much quieter too. The staff who welcomed us were really nice and helpful. The food, we ate at the restaurant in the evening and the following mornings breakfast were excellent - first rate in fact !!

The room could perhaps do with a bit of a revamp, especially in the bathroom however that's just a minor thing and didn't detract from our very enjoyable stay.

The most excellent stay of our month long trip

Gorgeous property on the river banks. Beautiful view of the Moselle. Modern clean, spacious room. Free parking in front of hotel. Great value. Valentina was an amazing host. Food is excellent! Cannot recommend this property more highly.

Accommodation next to Mosel, with nice view.

We spent few days here, an accommodation next to Mosel, with nice view. The accommodation is good and quietly, the room we stayed was spacious, clean and functional, breakfast sufficient. The restaurant was okay, didn’t make big impression, but may be due to our limitation in German, the menu is in German only and the waiter didn’t show much interest in trying to explain, we solved it quite well using Google translate, and after that occasion we visited other restaurants. Most of the staff are friendly, pleasant and service-minded. We visited many nice and beautiful places, Beilstein is about 2 km away and has many beautiful accommodations and nice restaurants.

Wifi very slow. One waiter very negative, unpleasant and rude at different occasions, as traveler and guest this kind of attitude has impact on the hole review. Staff is part of the whole concept, with that not saying they should accept rudeness or something like that, but this was definitely not the case. Could be as simple as a couple of bad days.

Staff were absolutely charming and spoke good English, the restaurant had a stunning view of the river which we enjoyed for both dinner and breakfast. The food was really very good and we loved the spatzle and the buffet breakfast and found good options as vegetarians. There was convenient parking off road for our motorbikes and we would definitely return if in the area.

We couldn't find reception at first, it's in the restaurant and not signposted but no big deal. If you have particular mobility issues then this may not be the best choice of hotel as plenty of steps/stairs. None the less it suited us perfectly and we loved it.

We stayed 3 nights with two dogs and we felt very welcomed from all the hotel staff since the very beginning. Nice room with a view over the river. Very good breakfast buffet. Good restaurant (with options for vegetarians) and great selection of wine! We would definitely come back!

Location was amazing. Food was good. Service was good. Definitely a guesthouse where guests return year after year.

Room decor could use updating. I cleaned the spiderwebs off of the ceiling. Breakfast buffet was not closely attended by the staff, so the replenishment was slow.

Great staff and great food for a reasonable price. We were a little late to make a reservation to sit on the terrace for dinner. But the waiter made it possible for us. The rumpsteak was extraordinary. We would definitely come back.
