I booked a family room and got a normal room. The booking was done 2 weeks in advance so how would you make such mistake. They told me they don’t have family room anymore. They did give me another room but it ruined the family vacation vibe…. Also the breakfast is just enough. Good enough but not as special as everyone says.

Not able to buy any drinks as no staff around after breakfast.

Struggled to get in as no staff at hotel. Apparantely we should of been given a code to be able to get our room and entry key.

Hotel Otus was easy to access outside of Ghent from a rental car on the major highways. Parking on site made things easy. The hotel was close by to the locations that I wanted to visit, Delirium and Heiling Hart Brewery. That’s why I chose to stay here. The price was also much better than if you stayed closer to the city and breakfast was included.

If you’re looking for easy access to Ghent, stay somewhere else. The room was okay… few things needing repair, but I’m not too fussy about that sort of thing.

Ample room and perfectly clean. Good variety for breakfast, and the staff was very efficient and reactive.

Parking could be tricky for big cars. The shower rain had the capacity to be modulated but it did not work.

close to train station (kwatrecht) & public transport, easy to access (with pin code), comfortable bed, clean, big wardrobe, table & seats, good light with roof windows which can open & be shielded, good breakfast, helpful staff during breakfast & at check-out at the reception

nothing so interesting to see in the neighborhood, along a noisy road, if it is hot, you can not open the roof windows due to the noise, inside the insulation is good, the sink in the bathroom was a bit smelly (if not closed), price was more expensive than usually for this level or service

L'emplacement et la situation par rapport aux différentes villes de Belgique permet de séjourner plusieurs jours dans ce même établissement. Le personnel est charmant et serviable. Le petit déjeuner super aussi. Le parking est facile.

Petit hôtel de passage, sympa pour une nuit

Le check-in en toute autonomie, la réception étant fermée le vendredi à notre arrivée en soirée Le parking sur place. L'ascenseur. La chambre spacieuse, la literie confortable, la belle sdb/WC et la grande douche, la propreté de l'établissement. Le pdj varié dans un bel espace au RDC.

Le bruit : l'hôtel est situé à un carrefour routier et le long de la route principale très passante. Beaucoup de trafic sur cet axe. Boules Quies nécessaires.

Kwaliteits/prijsverhouding is dik in orde. De strategisch zeer gunstige locatie is goed gekozen.

Wij hebben in huis beperkt (lees: geen) ruimte voor logees, dus als wij een gast van ver weg hebben, dan boeken wij een 'logeerkamer' bij Otus. Supergemakkelijk, want on-line boeken en betalen. Inchecken kan fysiek, aan de balie, of via een andere procedure buiten die tijden om: Je hoeft dus nooit zorg te hebben dat niet ingecheckt kan worden wegens gesloten. Ofschoon we onze gasten altijd een uitgebreid ontbijt bieden (het leven in België is toch zalig), liet het personeel onze gast toch niet vertrekken zonder tenminste een koffietje, theetje en/of iets anders te hebben genoten van het (onverigens in de prijs inbegrepen) ontbijt daar. Dat is niet alleen een leuke service, dat is ook een uiting van een zorgzaamheid naar de klant, die ik uitermate op prijs stel. Onze gast heeft zich door dat kleine gebaar, zeer thuis gevoeld bij OTUS. Onze volgende gast logeert weer in dit hotel.

Beneden in het hotel is een vestiging van een Internationale Pizzaketen gevestigd. Handig, praktisch allicht. Maar een adequatere afvoer van de keukenlucht, zodat je in de gangen en de kamers niet het gehele Pizza Hut menu opsnuift, zou een welkome verbetering kunnen zijn.

De ruime badkamer en krachtige douchestraal.

Gebrek aan personeel bij aankomst. Wat een armoe om in het donker te moeten naar de conciërge; niet gelijk iemand aan de lijn te krijgen, maar eerst een bandje te moeten afluisteren. De mevrouw die ik uiteindelijk aan de lijn kreeg, was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maar toen was de eerste indruk al gemaakt. Vervolgens geen infomap met ontbijttijden op de kamer. En ook niet een waterkoker om thee te zetten. Pure armoe.

7 kamers geboekt voor mijn trouw. Heel flexibel in het inchecken van verschillende kamers op elk moment van de dag zodat de gasten voldoende van hun rust konden genieten. Heel vriendelijke mensen! Super lekker ontbijt.

De douche opstelling liet toe dat er veel water de badkamer binnenkwam en zelfs op het tapijt van de slaapkamer geraakte.

Een proper, praktisch en gemakkelijk te bereiken hotel, dat waar voor het geldt biedt.

Voor ons is dit hotel een soort logeeradres voor gasten die van ver komen, en niet dezelfde dag weer terug naar huis willen. Bij gebrek aan logeerkamer in ons huis,, is dit een prima alternatief. In die zin, is dit hotel enorm praktisch: het is proper, ligt op een gemakkelijk bereikbare plaats, is dichtbij, en zee redelijk geprijsd. Het personeel is vriendelijk, en er zijn voldoende faciliteiten voor de reizende hotelgast. Kamer, ontbijt, parkeerplaats.

We hadden rond 11 uur willen inchecken, en dat was dan ook afgesproken. Toen we om 11 uur bij het hotel arriveerden, was de deur gesloten en het personeel afwezig. Nachtkleuis geprobeerd, maar die werkte niet. Conciërge gebeld, die ons doorverbond met een medewerker, die wist te melden dat er nog helemaal geen sleutel aangemaakt was. Dat had iets beter gekund, maar ik moet er wel bij zeggen, dat die medewerkster ook meldde direct naar ons toe te komen en binnen en kwartier bij ons te zijn. En inderdaad, binnen een kwartier was ze daar, en de zaak was in no-time opgelost. Dikke chapeau voor de oplosvaardigheid van die medewerkster.

Geen personeel aanwezig. Je loopt dan rond in een spook hotel De manier waarom het was vind ik de kwaliteit prijs niet in ver houding niet de prijs 150 euro per nacht. Max 100 zou beter zijn.

Trop chaud dans la chambre. Hôtel proche d'un carrefour très bruyant, impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres la nuit au risque de ne pas dormir à cause du bruit de la circulation. Moquette au sol, pas top pour les allergiques comme moi

Ik kan er niets positiefs over vertellen, want alles viel tegen tijdens onze 3 overnachtingen.

Alles. Er is niemand aanwezig tussen 10 en 18u. Dit is zeer klantonvriendelijk. Tijdens deze uren gebeurt alles telefonisch met een code en een kluis!!! Het ontbijt is basic. Gedurende onze 3 overnachtingen konden we de hoofdingang en onze kamer niet binnen. We moesten telkens telefonisch contact opnemen. Bij het douche liep de badkamer (van kamer115) onder. Zachte plastieken bekers om de tandende te poetsen, verder was er NIETS aanwezig. De airco werkte niet. Zeer slechte isolatie. De kamer was niet proper. 159€/nacht is veel te duur voor deze ondermaatse kwaliteit. Ik zet er geen voet meer binnen. Qua vriendelijkheid van het personeel was het ook ver te zoeken. Absoluut GEEN AANRADER.

Vriendelijke dame bij het ontbijt

Het inchecken, via een kluis. Lagen drie sleutels, bij ons niet bekend welke sleutel voor ons verblijf was. Drie sleutels meegenomen en op de tweede etage begonnen van de drie kamers was een kamer voorzien van schoon beddengoed. Deze kamer maar genomen. Prullenbakken vol, toilet was zo smerig met ontlasting er nog in. De volgende morgen zag ik dat we een app hadden gekregen om 23:15 dat ons kamernummer 10 was op de eerste etage. Er lagen dus drie masterkeys in het kluisje en die werken dus op alle kamers. Echt voor de prijs van €150 was het vreselijk. In de morgen dit aangegeven aan de vriendelijke dame bij het ontbijt. Was een ontzettende teleurstelling
