Great room for a 'Workation'

The location was close to the station, the boat harbour and the funiculare to get to orselina and cardada. The balcony view in spite of being blocked partially by the buildings still offered a decent mountain scene. The room was spacious, the wardrobe was a comfortable size. The room was also perfect to get work done with calm and quiet as the noise from both outside and inside were minimal and it had a decent desk, chair and sufficient electrical outlets The owner accommodated my laundry request and my extra request to keep my bag after checkout. The communication was excellent.

One minor nitpick would be to have a light in the shower area so that it doesn't become too dark. Another minor nitpick would be that the bathroom locking mechanism needed a bit of an effort.

We would have liked if the TV had more options other than Netflix, that's the only streaming service we didn't have an account for haha.

We had an excellent stay at the place. The employe Guiselle was nothing short but amazing! Super kind, welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. Excellent service! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Centrally located, everthing was meticulously clean, big room and good common bathrooms.

Theres barely any soundproofing, but this wasnt an issue for me. Earplugs are supplied.

A totally value for money stay!

The entire B&B had a charming cinema theme, carried through from the toilets and hallways to, of course, the rooms. Each room was named after a famous director, which I thought was a fun and creative touch—I absolutely loved it! Cleanliness was truly top-notch; they vacuumed and mopped the hallways and bathrooms every day. The location was also very convenient, with a bus stop nearby and the Piazza Grande just a 4-minute walk away. Overall, an excellent stay! When I booked the property, I mentioned that we were travelling to celebrate our anniversary. The owners were incredibly thoughtful—they left a bottle of Chardonnay in our room along with a sweet little note. We found it when we returned to the room that day, and it truly made our stay feel extra special.

The room had two single beds pushed together to make one, but they tended to slide apart, which was a bit uncomfortable. It would have been nicer to have one solid double bed. That said, everything else was absolutely perfect—no other complaints at all!

Good choice for a short stay in Locarno

The apartment is centrally located in Locarno. The room was spacious and the shared bathroom very clean. We got our Ticino-Ticket by Email prior to our arrival. The self check-in was easy and it was made possible using a code sent by the host.

Good location to main town Locarno. Close to Centro bus station and short walk to main train station. Easy check in, clean facilities and lovely staff.

Very hot, as no aircon in the summer time. Fan loud and didn’t work properly. There is a fridge (pro) but nowhere to wash dishes other then bathroom.

We had Covid and we had to pay the full price even if we told them early enough and couldnt go there. Greedy hosts. we expected a bit tolerance since its Not high season and the bed probably would have stayed unoccupied anyway.
