Staff were fantastic and always helpful. The food was brilliant and the location was great. Only a short walk to the centre of the old town and a good base for exploring the city.
Its not a dislike at all, the Facilities are standard but its a city hotel so you cant expect a 50m rooftop swimming pool can you.

The location was good. Quiet, short walk to the main square , near all the key places and also easy access for transport to get to you. Taxi easy to get.
The property was clean, I was impressed with the cleaners. . The storage in the room was also good- plenty of hanging space which I appreciate with the big coats and jumpers!
The breakfast was okay (not the best I’ve had). The coffee was from a machine and really vile tasting. In similar hotels we’ve stayed in for a similar price they offer freshly prepared cafetières. Quite a few options - some cooked, plenty of nuts and tea and a few alternative milks. I would have liked to have seen more fruit options but I understand it’s winter.
Quiet area which was a plus and very cosy in the cold.
If it was sunny or less icy, there is bike hire which is also great !
I am a regular gym user and the gym was open 24/ 7 which was one of the reason we chose this hotel. The gym was basic (as are most hotel gyms). Again, not the greatest I’ve had. It had a cross trainer, treadmill and some weights. If you’re a biker you would not have a static bike to use.
No one was ever in the gym when I was in there.
The gym was too hot! And no way I could easily see to adjust the temperature.
There is also a sauna but I didn’t use this.
Water dispenser on each floor of the hotel and a refillable water bottle in the room which was a nice touch.
As briefly touched on before. I did a lot of research for this hotel. I take my trips seriously as my partner is in the forces and so our time together is limited. We therefore, like to ensure our hotels are the best possible within a certain budget. This hotel was reasonable price, but I still don’t believe it was as good value as others we had stayed in. I also don’t think was the best 4* hotel we’ve stayed in. We chose it because of the high trip advisor ranking.
To improve - tea and coffee facilities in the room could be much better! Four tiny little pots of coffee cream :/
The beds- I barely slept. The duvets were two singles on a double bed and I found this frustrating in the middle of the night as they are just not something I’m used to and barely covered the two of us.
There was apparently a pillow menu - I only became aware of this on the last night when I was having a play around with the website. This was not vocalised to us upon check in, which is a shame as I probably would have swapped my super soft pillows.
Check in was smooth but I really didn’t feel the staff were overly friendly or went above or beyond. No map was offered, no questions if we’d like to know local shops / restaurants etc… no welcome drink. Again, similar ranked hotels these little touches are appreciated.
I would visit krakow again and we had an amazing tripe exploring. We will return but probably not this hotel.
