Hotel Wentzl

Massive shout out to Gregory who made this stay for my mother amazing, He was very responsive through email and was able to accommodate all my requests making this stay fantastic. The room was amazing and gave great views onto the square. My mother didn't want to come home!

This hotel was fantastic! The location is perfect - right on Old Town square, centrally located to everything you want to do. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great! We had a room on an upper floor with windows that open up to the square. We spent every night leaned up on the window ledge people watching, listening to the music on the square and enjoying the view. It was never too loud - when we closed the windows, it did a great job of blocking out all the noise from the square. The room itself was very comfortable - the bed, the amenities etc. Plenty of room for 2 people with giant suitcases. Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent location on the square. Our rooms had views over it. Lovely traditional rooms with high quality bathroom and good aircon. Staff at reception great!

We liked everything. Minor things for hotel to consider are replacing the mattress in room 33 - sagging and has had its day! Also lack of full length mirrors in both rooms we had.

Location

The Hotel, once impressive, is run down and disappointing. Obviously in need of urgent redecorating and updating. We had to change our bedroom arriving late afternoon, because toilet was faulty and not checked before our arrival. Breakfasts consist of food from a day or two before, definitely not fresh and not appetising. Verging on health hazard: tepid sausages/potato cakes/mushrooms were served from broken heating machine which wasn’t repaired for 3 days after our initial day one complaint. Serving staff nice but helpless, their managers not particularly interested.
