    The location of this hotel is great and many things in this hotel are very good. It is let down however by something that is difficult to fix: the rooms are just not right for a hotel at this price point. They are quite small and the shape of the room and use of physical space in the building is not good. Our room only had skylights, and our friends had a window that was somewhat buried in the attic with much of the room being difficult to stand up in. We really hated this, as we felt quite claustrophobic and disconnected from the outside world. Our friends commented that they couldn't stand up in a large portion of the room, and the taller of the couple had to take the side of the bed that wouldn't lead to them banging their head if they got up in the night! I'm sure that many people wouldn't be bothered by this but we really didn't like it at all. The decoration of the rooms is good, and the bathrooms are lovely. But again silly things make it feel a bit cheaper than it should for a recently opened five star hotel. For example, you can't open the shower without pushing away the foot towel. I appreciate this is a really minor thing but it was something that just felt a little unnecessarily annoying, and one that a bit of good design would have avoided. The staff are friendly, and whilst we didn't have the breakfast, our friends said it was very good. They got given free cakes in their room one day whilst we didn't, which was a little disappointing. Overall we had a good stay in Kraków. This hotel is absolutely fine and does the job if you are looking for somewhere central simply to sleep. However if you are looking for a more luxurious option and plan to also enjoy spending a little time in your room, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere as there is a lot of choice in this city. We wouldn't return to this hotel and wouldn't recommend it to others sadly.

    We took quite some time to locate this hotel, as the entrance and hotel signage is not obvious and visible. The room design is not nice, which is quite difficult to walk around, especially after opening up to luggage. We also feel quite stuffy staying inside the room, which we have provided our feedback to the receptionist. Technician came to check unfortunately, can't be fixed. Only one thing to shout out is the receptionists are friendly.
