We were unable to book a table in the bar which we wanted for the buzz Told we had to eat in dining room set aside for guests We mad a fuss and they gave us a table in the bat as my birthday so could have been avoided

The room was fab but, being the hottest day of the year, therefore not unexpectedly, very hot due to three outside walls and one opening window facing SW! But very comfortable and well furnished. However, Japanese bath tub a real challenge for showering and nowhere to put toiletries, not even a shelf. Not very well suited for older, less mobile guests….but generally highly recommended.

Room is very authentic and original features of the building well maintained
Shower was extremely difficult to use as it was placed in a 1 square metre tub with no easy access! it wasn't a power shower, water pressure was very low. Absence of air conditioning facility in our room contributed to our an uncomfortable night, Breakfast menu was very limited.
