Great stay when coming and going with Stena

It’s only a short walk to the hotel, but we had a lot of luggage and it was raining, so we took a quick taxi ride and got there in under 5 minutes from Stena port. The property is lovely, and the staff are amazing! They helped us with our heavy bags and even moved us to a different room of the same value to make things easier with our luggage. Everything felt super relaxed yet still very professional, and the atmosphere was really homely. One of the gentlemen even ran across the road to the 7–9 shop for us so we could grab a few things before they closed, such a kind gesture. The beds were comfortable, I loved the hot shower and great water pressure, and my pet was welcome too.

Overall, everything was good. There was pet hairs on the carpet from a previous guest, but aside from that, no complaints.

Cold, dark, late, I got what I needed

It's a short walk from the ferry terminal. All I want is a good kip, so the rest takes second place

TV didn't have BBC, language barrier between myself and reception staff, but we surmounted it

Great

It was comfortable. Love the outdoor hotel rooms makes it easier for someone like me who loves walking so I can leave my boots outside. It is clean and cosy. It’s been my favourite place to stay for a few years now when I come for a weekend away.

The lady at the desk wasn’t the best person to have front of house. She knew little English which is fine apart from the fact that she couldn’t answer my questions such us “how do I get into the car park?” Or “what type of room I paid for”. She took out her phone and asked me to Google translate what I was saying. She didn’t ask me for any booking reference and there was confusion over my room and communication was poor.

Nice hotel

Parking, allowed to have my dogs with me, Staff was very friendly, loved the range of things on the smart TV and how easy the Internet is to connect. coffee machine was nice. loved the shop being close and the walk to the park was nice so the area is alright

didn't like the charge for my pets when we got to the hotel itself. and in some obvious spaces in the room haven't been cleaned i.e the blind in bathroom the skirting boards are thick with dust, The sink in the bathroom is annoying the tap just soaks you.

If you want to catch the morning ferry, the Sarah Hotel is an ideal stay.

Perfect for the ferry. Very comfortable and dog-friendly. Very helpful owner/manager. The TV was an entertainment centre that you could stay all week just for that.

There were no facilities and nothing around the hotel you had to drive to get anything it had a massive tv which needed logging into to watch anything, the staff didn't speak English

Goed tot rust gekomen in dit fijne hotel !

Grote badkamer, 2 grote slaapkamers met 2-persoonsbedden. Hotel ligt in een hele rustige buurt ( zeg maar gerust: slaapverwekkend) dus je komt hier goed tot rust.

Geen ontbijt , echt een gemis. Gelukkig zitten Starbucks en Greggs om de hoek

Comfortabele overnachting op handige locatie tov de ferry en trein. vriendeljke mensen.

De kamer was zonder ontbijt maar de eigenaar was behulpzaam in het aanwijzen van een ontbijtlocatie. Het is op zeer korte loopafstand van de ferry. Mooie schone kamer en alles was schoon en netjes.

Geweldig voor die prijs.

We hadden kamer 3 geboekt, een familie kamer. Er zat een werkelijk prachtige badkamer in. De douche was met een harde straal. Voor ons hondje moesten we 15 pond bijbetalen. Een parkje vlakbij, winkels en restaurants ook. 2 minuten rijden van Stena line.

Heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Kamer en badkamer/toilet waren heel schoon. Op loopafstand van de ferry en trein.

Geen ontbijt; was wel een meeneem ontbijt te krijgen.
