This two-bedroom, two-bath unit boasts sweeping ocean views from your fully-stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, newly renovated lanai, and primary bedroom.

Pu'o Poa is the perfect location, walking distance to two uncrowded beaches and a short drive from the Princeville Shopping Center and Hanalei Beach. The Makai Golf Course is a very short drive away as well.

One of Puu Poa's best amenities is the pool on the edge of the cliff - you'll find it hard to pull yourself away from this truly epic spot. There are also pickleball courts on site!

Puu Poa community is directly adjacent to Hideaways beach trail which features amazing snorkeling in the summer months. Just across from Hideaways access is the public staircase to the beach at the new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. This newly renovated 5-star hotel boasts three world-class restaurants, a coffee bar, shopping, a spa, and many fantastic views.

Please note, that this home does not have central air conditioning but relies on ceiling fans and ocean breezes to cool the home.

This place was outstanding! The views are amazing, of course -- even better than pictures can convey. We had everything we needed and the place was spotless. The surroundings were top-shelf. Very nice pool -- nothing over the top, just comfortable; the pool looks out over the ocean, too. All the residents, including a handful of kids, were quiet and respectful of others. We can't recommend it enough!

Great ocean views, nice grounds and pool area (no hot tub), good access to Hideaways Beach, nice overall location. Condo is older but updated and feels very comfortable. Great patio area, furnishings good. Could use to updates in the kitchen such as new pans, new toaster, etc. but overall nice and large kitchen with views straight out toward the ocean; beautiful sunsets, felt like we lived there. The lack of air conditioning was a little bit of a challenge as it wasn’t very breezy and we definitely slept warm, even with all the fans on (some of the fans need replacing). Overall comfortable and wonderful stay in a world-class location.

Our group was 2 couples at this spacious, beautiful condo with amazing views. We loved being able to walk to Hideaways Beach to snorkel just below our unit. We were able to navigate the steep descent to the beach, though anyone with physical limitations might have trouble. The ropes along the sides helped us manage. We saw some whales splashing in the distance, even in May! We made good use of the two lanais, having most meals outdoors and used the private BBQ. The pool is great and big enough to enjoy with others present. Note that there is only one portable AC in the back bedroom, that was too noisy to use. The primary bedroom temp was ok with opening the slider and using the fan. In warmer months, it could be too hot. We’d stay here again and highly recommend it.

The location and view at this property was unbelievable. We loved watching the surfers each morning off our balcony at Hideaway beach and the proximity to the 1 Hotel’s coffee shop. The unit was spacious and clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Is the 2nd condo at Pu’u Poa in which I’ve stayed and they were both perfect. I prefer to spread out and have living space when I vacation, rather than a tiny one-room hotel option, and the Pu’u Poa condos are just homey and cozy and Oceanside heaven. Two beds, two baths, great kitchen/dining area, fantastic living room and two breathtaking lanais with the best views you can get. I saw too many whales spraying and breaching to count, watched the fog dance around the mountain and drifted to sleep hearing the waves crash at our shore. The condo was well-appointed, impeccably clean and had a sweetly-Hawaiian/island-style decor that, while a bit out-dated, was still nice, classic and understated, and invited you to just relax and enjoy your life in that precious time and space. Check in and check out was easy, communication with management was a breeze. The new hotel, 1 Hotel, opened up in 2023 and was a fantastic next door neighbor as their restaurants are gorgeous and serve great food, and literally are a 4 minute lovely walk from the condo. I was there for breakfast and dinner every day. The Pu’u Poa condos are quiet, feel very safe and are nestled in a beautiful community. I will definitely be back!

This time we traveled with another couple (all of us seniors). The unit provided us everything we needed. The furnishings were outdated, but everything was neat and clean. We are not overly picky, but the only complaint would be that the lanai was in need of repair. There were several cracked tiles and weeds popping up between the tiles that housekeeping could have easily taken care of to make things more visually aesthetic . However, our focus is on the ocean and relaxation, so we easily got passed those issues. Overall we had a great time there.

We had the most beautiful ocean view, a pool, and a short climb down to Hideaways Beach. #305 had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy cooking at the condo and visiting the beaches. Such a well stocked condo! The lanai could use some maintenance and lighting, but you don't notice cracked tile when you are looking at the sunset.

All amenities needed to enjoy the island including beach chairs, ice chest, sunscreen, snorkel gear and so much more. Fully stocked kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. A few negatives were that there was no beach access that we could locate , but no biggie, we just hopped in our car and drove to one and there are plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from. Also was bummed that I couldnt see a sunset, the mountain blocked it but I could catch a glimpse of it. The view, the amenities make up for it all and I would absolutely stay here again!

The location and views are fantastic and ideal if you need to be in Princeville. The amenities were mostly as described with the exception of a coffee grinder we never found. The property was clean upon arrival, and the small interactions we had with management were fantastic. Overall we had a great trip and ended up spending a great deal of time in Hannalei as it was a quick hop away. For the price you really can't beat a stay here and we would gladly return.

The condo is well stocked with everything you need to cook (even salt, pepper, oil, red pepper flakes) or concoct frozen tropical drinks! The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the unit was quite peaceful as well and we loved falling asleep to the waves each night. The view is incredible and our favorite beach, Hideaways, is just a quick jaunt down the path (though pretty steep). I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a slice of paradise!

Lovely private beach with great snorkeling just short trail hike down. Walk to beach in from of St Regis as well. Nicely decorated. Due to there being no air conditioning, it got really hot in there most days during the day, but would cool off for sleeping at night. Short stunning drive to Hanelei, where we went most nights for dinner Bc it's a lg drive to get anywhere else on island from princeville. This we were not prepared for. It forces us to spend most of our trip on north of island. However, it's also the most remote and gorgeous part of Kauai, so we knew what we were signing up for. Quiet and relaxing. Non touristy. No hustle and bustle. Paradise.

Whether its the gourgeous sunsets, the amazing starry nights, quiet (almost private) beach below or the many amenities in the condo, everything was better than expected. We really enjoyed the ability to cook instead of eating out and this place literally has every gadget in the kitchen... I would also note that we found the electric grill sufficient for our needs. Very spacious living area and jacuzzi tub was a plus. We even locked ourselves out at one point but luckily there is a resident property manager. One recommendation would be to replace the front door lock and the sliding doors/screens as they have been worn over the years by the ocean salt. Working with an established realtor made the process seamless and, in my view, keeps the premises clean and up to date.
