The condo’s master bedroom is equipped with a brand new king size bed, flat screen Smart TV, its own lanai with chaise lounge chairs, and en suite bathroom. Everything with the condo was great. Excellent communication with the management company, Makana, before, during and end of trip.Great location!!! Great grounds, landscaping! People were very considerate of others in the complex-sound carries here but everyone kept a low voice. Very quiet and peaceful. We went when school was in progress which probably helped.Upon arrival, the condo was clean and lights were on (we got there at night) as Makana told us in an earlier email. The kitchen was also well stocked.We will stay in the same condo in the future.

This property has a great ocean view and was so clean when we arrived. They had everything fully stocked including laundry and dishwasher detergent. The fresh flowers were a nice touch as well. There was plenty of information provided about the property and amenities and responses to my emails happened instantaneously. The only issue we had was with the noise above us from the other guests. It was extremely loud and every time they walked around it sounded like elephants stomping around. At first we thought it was the guests but then realized it was the building and that the floors and ceilings were very thin. I would definitely not stay in a first floor level space here again as the noise definitely put a damper on our trip. Other than that it was a good place to stay. Close to good beaches and shopping.

Great stay for our family with kids ages 9 and 12. Very nice unit, taken care of and well stocked with necessary items. Also had beach towels, umbrella and boogie boards. Sun did heat the place up in the late afternoon but cooled down by 8p/9p and we all slept fine with the ceiling fans.

The community is very quiet and easy to find. The unit is well appointed not far from parking and has nearly everything you need. We were thrilled to have use of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and a cooler! There is no air conditioning but the ocean breeze and over head fans were all we needed for our stay in August. Hanalei is a 15-20 minute drive away. Tunnels Beach was magnificent ! All in all we enjoyed this stay and found the property very clean! An extra unexpected bonus was having access to a concierge which was a huge help making reservations and navigating our stay!!

Beds were comfy and our two boys (ages 12 and 15) appreciated having separate beds in their room. We live on Oahu and will plan to rent this unit again when we're back on the North Shore of Kauai. Mahalo nui for a great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean. It had all the necessary items needed to stay for a week. The only problem we had was booking on the ground floor with a family and small children running around until 9 or so every night. They had friends over so every night they move furniture I guess I don’t know what they were doing up there. When we went to the hot tub, we were unable to use it because that family and friends did not share time to use hot tub. This was the only time I contacted the property manager and receive no response. I’ve always thought there was a 20 minute limit when other people wanted to use the hot tub or so . All in all it’s beautiful condo in a beautiful location and we had a great time.

This condo was a great find for our family of 4. It was clean, in great condition and has a view of the ocean. The condo has private beach access to Hideaways Beach and is a short walk to Queen’s Bath. The owners had left beach chairs and a cooler which was a nice bonus. There was some noise from the unit above, but it didn’t keep us up at night.

Absolutely loved this condo. Felt like home from the moment we stepped in. The condo was perfectly equipped with everything we needed from beach chairs to sand toys and a fully stocked kitchen. Really clean, modern decor and the best part was the doors opening up to a lawn for the kids to run around. With an ocean view for the adults to enjoy while they played! We loved the quick 10 min drive to Hanalei Bay, the most beautiful beach we've ever been to. The condo neighbors were friendly and making conversation on the edge of the lawn while watching the sun go down was a highlight. We highly recommend this condo, even if we want to selfishly keep it a secret. Thank you so much! Can't wait to be back.

Lacked a few supplies that we are used to when renting VRBO such as coffe e and filters and laundry detergent. Normally there is at least one days worth. Also, ice machine was not working. Otherwise a nice stay.

Location, cleanliness, instructions on finding the place and general amenities - all great.The Bad (for us, mainly, it was noisy):All the good, however, was heavily overshadowed by the bad. Hot water was flaky the whole time until it was just off completely. Management responded quickly, but still pretty disappointing and the issue wasn't fully resolved during our stay. I assume this will be fixed and be a non-issue eventually*. We enjoyed daily 5:30AM wake up calls from the upstairs apartments. Heavy footsteps, talking, screen doors slamming and toilet flushes easily woke me up every morning - not a tough task to wake me up. My partner, however, sleeps like a rock and even they were woken up every morning and upset about the noise. The house doesn't have A/C (nor does it claim to) and even if you wanted to fully close the windows to stop the noise, you couldn't. Screens and louvers do little to stop outside noise from coming in, so upstairs neighbors preparing for their day (or talking at night) go straight into this rental (as do the honks from the nene geese, which is fine, actually, but still another wake up call that some might not appreciate).* Re: Hot Water - again, management was very fast. Response was very fast and they were very polite, etc... the dedicated breaker for the water heater tripped - so something is definitely wrong somewhere. Once the fuse was turned on, we had to wait for hot water, which never really came. So this issue just required time and troubleshooting and wasn't really resolved while we were there.
