Hanalei Bay Villas #22 is a spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath, two story stand-alone condominium. With an additional queen size sleeper sofa, this unit sleeps six comfortably. Beach access is available past the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay next door. Views include the Hanalei Mountains and Princeville Makai Golf Course. There's a private lanai off the primary bedroom on the lower floor. Or enjoy the views and the breezes from the upstairs lanai off the living room. The interior has been beautifully remodeled recently - new ownership has added upgraded kitchen inventory. The gourmet kitchen with beautiful granite counters will satisfy the senses. We've even included AC in the bedrooms. When you step across the street, you'll be treated to expansive open ocean views - perfect for watching surfers, snorkelers, and whales! Sunset skies will greet you all year long, with the sun setting in the ocean during the summer months - watch for the green flash. This unit is set back from the street for better privacy. The complex is located in te resort area of Princeville, offering a variety of shopping, groceries and restaurants nearby. The Makai Golf course just half a mile up the road offers 18 holes of world famous golfing. A five minute drive takes you down to Hanalei Town, playground to surfers, swimmers, and sun lovers. When you headquarter in Princeville, the whole north shore is at your command. Go west to Hanalei, or further west to Wainiha and Haena - the beginning of the Na Pali Coast Trail. Go east to Anini, or further east to Kapaa. Getting to Poipu on the south shore takes just over an hour. Main bedroom has a king bed, guest bedroom has a king bed that can be made into two twin beds if requested.

Beautiful location, beautiful stay! We spent 10 days at this condo and we were so thankful for our time there! The AC in the bedrooms worked great, very thankful for that! Open all the windows up when upstairs and the upstairs will cool down with the breeze. Beds and pillows were comfy enough. The main bed could use an upgrade as one side is worn down. No issues with bathroom - but for curly hair girls, there’s a hair dryer available but unfortunately no diffuser attachment. Bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner available was appreciated - though it unfortunately seemed to dry out my hair so we wound up purchasing our own shampoo/conditioner at the local store. The kitchen is complete -we enjoyed dinner and lunch at the condo several times to save money which we were grateful for. Easy to use and to clean stove top, blender, coffee pot, microwave, grill, and Brita filter we appreciated. We made good use of the beach chairs and umbrella. We wished snorkel gear was available, that’s the one thing that I was disappointed to not find in the condo. Hopefully it can be included in the future. Washer/dryer worked great. The location is hard to beat - we enjoyed our walks to 1 hotel for views and breakfast and the many steps to the beach access were worth it. It was fun to visit the farmers market and to walk to Nourish Hanalei and down through the old Club Med area (definitely recommend that!). Overall, we loved this condo and would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo!

My sister and I were blessed to have stayed here for a week at the beginning of November. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed, and then some. The beds were super-comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy and bright. The two lanais with their amazing views were much appreciated. The location was perfect; right between Hanalei and Anini beaches. The entire Princeville resort area is just beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, hopefully soon!

The location and the villa were both better than expected. The views of the golf course from the villa were amazing and it was an easy walk to the beach or the five-star 1 Hotel. The air conditioners worked really well in the bedrooms and the breeze was enough to cool the rest of the house. We were two adults and a teenager, and everyone had more than enough space to relax. The villa was delightful. It was clean, spacious and well stocked. The view from the lanai of the mountains was spectacular. We also overlooked holes 3 and 4 of the Makai Golf course. While not golfers, we really enjoyed watching the golfers play. The nearby Pu'u Poa beach is a 5 minutes walk down a steep but easy to manage paved pathway and stairs. Hanalei and the Hanalei beaches are just a 10 minute drive away.

We stayed in March 2023 for 8 nights. We arrived in the evening and it was a little difficult to find the house number to be sure we were at the right place, but once we confirmed it, we were so pleased! The house is 2 stories with the main floor at the entrance with a kitchen, eating area, living area and powder room. There's also a small outdoor eating/sitting area that overlooks the golf course and a fabulous mountain view. The two bedrooms are both a good size with bathrooms for each and a laundry area. While there isn't any air conditioning, there are ceiling fans and great cross-breezes. We never felt hot. The place is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. There were beach chairs provided, which were perfect for what we needed. There's a great overlook that's another easy walk where we were able to watch sunsets and see whales in the ocean. I definitely recommend this location!

This is a beautiful property, well maintained, clean with a wonderful kitchen. The rooms caught the breezes so well that we preferred to sleep with windows fully open rather than use the air conditioning. We walked to the beach every morning to swim. Beautiful views, beautiful home, awesome location near Hideaways Beach, beautifully maintained grounds, beautifully furnished, and wonderfully equipped! Have to dig for any constructive criticism, and all we could come up with was that the snorkels did not have masks, so had to rent snorkel equipment, and a couple of the beach towels were a bit puny. Enjoyed a great stay, and loved the location! Would do it again!

My parents and I could not have imagined our trip to Kaua'i without this villa. In many ways, it "made" our stay. The views are breathtaking (this particular villa has some of the best!) and it is incredibly well-equipped. The amenities are fantastic and in great condition. There is no A/C upstairs, which we were surprised by, but there was A/C in the bedrooms downstairs. Plenty of fans for the upstairs, though it did get a little toasty in the afternoons if the fans were not running. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Absolutely loved it!

The property is fantastic, location is pretty choice, and the views from the lanai are really really good. The house itself has a well-equipped kitchen, with everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves, and the washer/dryer are clutch. Plenty of room for 2 couples; or two singles; or two adults and their child. One amenity I found surprisingly delightful are the very high quality TVs in the bedrooms and living room. Nicer than ours back home, and welcome for those evenings when the rain comes hard and it's time to just unwind. As for the cons: the only real downside we experienced was noise from the golf course behind the unit. They ran gas powered tractors all morning starting as early as 6:45am every day. If you run the AC it's less bothersome, but I like windows open. So that killed the relax a bit every morning. Also, the entrance is up some stairs, so if you're challenged by that, keep looking (we weren't, just saying). And lastly, the beach gear mentioned in the materials (chairs, cooler, etc) were nowhere to be found. Apparently they live in a storage bin outside. We didn't know and wound up renting our own, which was not reimbursed. Just FYI.

It a good place overall, but not for some people that like more privacy and quite time especially in the morning. Every morning before sunrise, we could hear the loud maintenance on the golf course. As it was enough, there is a lot of noise before 8am with workers blowing the leaves around the property. Not a place for those that enjoy a quite morning.

This property was amazing to stay at. This was my 10th trip to Kauai and I always stay in Princeville, but my first time at this property. It was clean, quiet, well stocked and had a wonderful cross breeze through the whole house. It was great to wake up to the mountains every morning and a small peek at Hanalei Bay! Loved being able to walk across the street for the beautiful Bali Hai sunset!! Beautiful and highly recommend!
