Perfect location, easy to arrive with the car and a 50meters walk from the main downtown area in Bolzano

The parking is not free and not always guaranteed. It’s a publicly available parking (unsupervised) that is subject to availability. You cannot book a spot in advance. The hotel does offer a 50% discount rate though.

Perfect Cosy pre-Christmas Holiday!

The perfect cosy winter property in the perfect locations. Beautiful views of the mountains from our window. Perfect location for exploring the Christmas markets. Buffet breakfast was delicious - would recommend including in your stay. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the onsite pizza restaurant.

Parking is not always available. You need to be lucky to find it because it’s a public parking not managed by the hotel, and even then, for the price of the property, the price of the parking is too much.

Absolutely loved this hotel and would stay again. The building, styling, staff and location fabulous.

Great location. Loved the hotel styling. Rooms generous. Lounge very cool. Amazing views to the Dolomites. The staff went out of their way to post something we had left behind to our next destination with no stress at all. Would definitely stay again.

Friday night downstairs is a great bar but goes until midnight and you can certainly hear it.

A great centrally located place to stay

The property is centrally located with great amenities. It’s a short walk from the train station and checking in and out was very easy. It has its own restaurant, a very classy bar and beautiful gardens. A lovely bathroom and a comfortable bed.

Beautiful hotel with an incredible garden and a wonderful restaurant. The location is great. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. I am especially pleased that there were various seasonal products from the area.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Location in the old town was easy to access lots of sites and restaurants. Dinner in the restaurant of the hotel was also a great option.

The cost of parking was the most expensive encountered for an overnight stay during our 5 week trip around Europe.

Absolutely fabulous!

The atmosphere, design and location - the building & the garden are amazing! It feels like a perfect getaway gem where you find peace and relaxation immediately. You can stay whole day in that oasis of greenery and never get bored. I also liked that they are super pet-friendly & my little doggo enjoyed every bit of our stay. Loved it! Will go back again!

Amazing - can’t wait to go back

The whole vibe of the hotel - the decor and design, the amazing pool and lush greenery outside made it feel like an oasis. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and even the croissants at the bar were some of the best we’d had (as well as the coffee).

The only criticism is that the two pillows in my room were both extremely flat (barely any stuffing at all) but I received a new pillow with a bit more stuffing. The hotel might want to purchase some other pillows to have available (ie not the German-style large squares but regular rectangular pillows) as my husband was unable to get an alternative pillow. This is the only piece of feedback I have - everything else was genuinely amazing.

totally not worth the money spent

perfect location in old town, right next to (paid) parking garage. friendly staff. one could sense that this used be a grand luxury hotel (but those are by-gone days— read below about what I didn’t like about the property).

air conditioner would not work properly despite staff’s attempt to turn it on. the room was initially very warm/hot. Although Bolzano gets very cool in the evening, opening the window was a weak fallback option due to sounds of night revelers and cars entering or leaving to the parking garage right below our window. as a result it was hard to get the night’s rest one would expect when paying what was an already exorbitant $300/night for a very old, non modernized hotel room. the room had cheap furniture and lacked and sense of modernization or sophistication. it’s an old hotel that has not been sufficiently updated. that said, the staff was very friendly and charming.

Would recommend for location but also the wonderful hotel itself, it's services and general ambience

Classy intimate hotel with modern styling. Great facilities, very clean rooms with Bluetooth speakers a plus. Great stylish bar and lawn for summer drinks and reclining on the lounger. Location couldn't hvae been better either, 5 minutes from rail station and also minutes from downtown Bolzano & all it has to offer. Would 100% stay again should I be in Bolzano again soon. Staff very friendly and helpful too. Very pleasantly surprised!

A pleasant stay with an excellent room in characterful hotel...but could do better!

The location of the hotel is excellent, a short walk from the centre of Bolzano. The room was immaculate and large with an excellent "period" bathroom. The garden in front of the hotel is a wonderful spot to take breakfast and enjoy an evening drink.

1. Breakfast. Everything is served to your table. At times service became chaotic with orders delayed or forgotten. A much better solution would be to set up a serving area within the bar area to allow guests to serve themselves with cold items such as cereals, fruit, juices and breads. This would free up the staff to deal solely with drinks and hot food orders into the kitchen, ensuring a smoother service. 2. Car Park. The hotel doesn't own the car park but the car park uses the hotel's name. There is a 50% discount on parking charges for hotel guests. However, when the automatic barriers break down (as they did) preventing entry, the hotel was unable to contact the car park operator to alert them to the problem and get a fix. Consequently, the car park access was down for one night during our stay. There is clearly a commercial relationship with the car park operator but this needs to be formalised with a service level agreement and call out contact details to get a rapid fix when needed. On street parking is difficult to find nearby and the availability of this car park is an asset to the hotel which would encourage guests to choose to stay there. To merely say that the repair of the "Mondschein" parking barriers is out of the hotel's jurisdiction reflects poorly on the hotel's image.

We really loved the area and would go back in a heartbeat. Speaking German would be a big help.

The location was easy access from the train station and to other attractions in the town. Very Walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The rom was comfortable and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the birds. The sauna was great too!

The bartender did not know how to make a Vodka Martini. Oh well. There was no top sheet on the bed - this was true of a couple hotels we stayed in. There were no washcloths, this was also true of other places we stayed in.
