Visiting the Olympics

The breakfast was very good and it had plenty of choices. The room was clean and peaceful. The Südtirolmobil-card, which belonged to price, was very useful. The bus stop was near at Grieser Platz. I also walked to the citycentre, which was not far away from the hotel.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location

The bed was very comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful on both the night and morning shifts. The room was clean and quiet. The food was good, and the service in the restaurant was attentive. Excellent location in a nice area, with great connections to get around.

Great hotel, comfortable and good location

Great location, next to bus stop to get to the centre. Nice and new hotel, large room, beautiful bathroom. Lots of light. Great breakfast. There is also possibility to have dinner. Facility to charge the electric car available (slow charging).

Staff quite cold and distant, it seemed almost they were doing us a favour. Some noise from the road in the morning.

Good location, but wouldn't come back

Good location, comfortable bed, recently renovated. The staff provided a 24h public transport card for free.

Not good value for money. The room was small, the balcony view was the wall of the building next door. The parking is 5 minute walk away, which is not convenient when you have several bags (no vallet, nor support from the staff).

Wonderful location, clean, comfortable and friendly

Very good value overall. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and were able to speak English. Very helpful with bicycle rental. The breakfast buffet was good, not great. 15 Euros was a bit expensive for the quality. Excellent location in charming and quiet part of Bolzano. Easy walk to park l, old town, cafes bars good restaurants and supermarket. Our room and bathroom were immaculate and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit too small and the bedroom was really only big enough for the bed - but was ok for our needs and for 3 nights. A really simple but charming hotel with a sense of history - not a boring franchise.

At dinner The dining room was 100% full with guests on package tours! We never ate dinner at the hotel. This was a pity. Very small bathroom. 15 euros was a bit too expensive for the breakfast buffet. Bikes need some maintenance- many needed air in the tires. We tried 5 bikes before we found one that was ok.

Good

The position is fine, not far from the centre. The rooms are clean and the staff met my requests. If you are a tourist this hotel is a good compromise.

We had no warm water and the hotel didn't propose any discount. The breakfast is fine but nothing special. To have the parking place you have to pay an extra and it was not clear from the beginning. I reserved a double with a big bed and I got the first double with 2 beds. Nobody checked in advance and I had to notice to the staff.

Good breakfast. Hotel location is 15/20 minutes walk from the center of town, but the hotel offers the guests a pass for all town buses. Very clean garage and cheap. Room and bathroom very clean and no problems with our dog

Good hotel in great city

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was simple but good enough for us.

The room was quite small for a family, it was a bit of a walk (10 mins) to town which was no issue for us. Parking is not guaranteed. We had street parking where available. The hosts advised there was a parking garage nearby however they believed it was already full.

Wonder trip to Südtirol over new year

We loved our stay at Hotel Post Gries. We could easily find our way around town by using the public transport and walking. We were also able to decide spontaneously each morning if we were to join for breakfast. The breakfast had a huge variety of all the needed components and a delicious cappuccino. Everything was prepared fresh and we can highly recommend this hotel. The Bolzano city cards are awesome and allows you to save plenty of money!

Friendly staff, clean room. The hotel is located quite far from the central station and city centre but still reachable by foot and by bus. The hotel provides you with the Bolzano Card which you can use for public transportation (including trains), museums and tourist attractions.

The room was tiny and, I'd say, overpriced - but Bolzano is expensive in general. Also, I wouldn't recommend breakfast in this hotel.

Superb

Everything! The room was perfect and the location as well. The room wasn't too small, toilet with bidet, a small desk and chair.

Only drawback was the impossibility to use the air conditioning system to warm up the room after coming back to the hotel at night. It must be said it wasn't really cold and the heating turns up automatically early in the morning.

Nice family run hotel. Very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms rooms with AC. Parking is available close by at a discounted rate. Breakfast and restaurant good, breakfast buffet could be a little more varied but in general acceptable. Location good only 5 mins walk from the main areas. Overall I liked this hotel and would definately stay again.
