Basic room in a nice location

Location was very nice. Close to town and away from main traffic. Breakfast was good as well.

Room was very small and cold. Pillows uncomfortable. No kettle or heated towel rail. Very basic.

Our bathroom flooded every time you had a shower. The internet didn’t work. The owner was also operating the hotel as a old peoples home.

Aside the one issue, perfectly acceptable.

Location, breakfast, experience all generally** all fine.

**Hotel staff a little unnecessarily strict with our young children who were a little loud at one stage while between supervision by myself (dealing with luggage in car) and my wife (leaving room with our youngest). Children, who are generally well behaved, were a little upset at being admonished by staff, and as parents we were surprised that a request to quieten our children was not made to us, but to young children directly. If hotel staff perhaps take a slightly different approach with children (being children) all will be fine.

Room and bathroom good... and TV

Staff were not nice... a bad day or frightened of the situation.. ruined my stay... Horrible smell of disinfectant.. Had to be in by 9pm - door closed - because I don’t use the lift I had to phone them in advance.... silly buggers....

Very friendly and accommodating reception. There was everything we needed. Beautiful old trees in garden, charming building. Good beds. Clean except for bathroom.

A pleasant good value hotel in this fascinating and historic spa town

The owner and staff did an excellent job in welcoming back guests with new safeguards in place to combat the spread of coronavirus. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the heart of the town - and nice and quiet. I enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast and slept soundly. Safe private parking is also a plus.

The wifi was a little erratic and didn't work too well on the second floor. It's also tricky to get 4G - although you can get it in the town.

Un moment hors du temps dans un cadre paisible

Super cadre, bel hôtel à l'ancienne avec beaucoup de charme et un accueil chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des produits locaux de qualité. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end ! Merci :-)

C’est un hôtel au calme et néanmoins pas loin du centre de la ville. La qualité des repas était très bonne. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Het ontbijt(buffet) was heerlijk en ruim voldoende. Er waren veel verschillende soorten confituren, eieren, ham en kaas, croissants vers geperst fruitsap,... Het was zoals je hoopt dat het zal zijn: veel en lekker. Het hotel heeft ook een bepaalde charme, het is een oud landhuis dat heel aangenaam is om in te vertoeven. De streek nodigt ook uit om nog eens terug te komen, heel mooi en bosrijk.

J'ai apprécié la gentillesse des stagiaires. J'ai apprécié que les repas soient fait avec les produits régionaux.

Le matelas est franchement sale. La salle de bain n'est pas très propre. La propriétaire des lieux devrait penser à sa tenue vestimentaire.
