Convenient location, breakfast had a good varied selection.

The bed was soft and sagging in the middle, the pillows were very lumpy. When we arrived, both rooms we booked smelled of cigarette smoke. In fact, there were ashtrays in the rooms. When I enquired about this and asked to change rooms, there was no apology, only that these were the last rooms and couldn't be exchanged.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years. I love the fact it is a traditional french hotel, with an excellent restaurant. the owners, who have been running the hotel for many years are helpful and give that personal touch as do all the staff. the rooms are attractive, and the setting of the hotel peaceful, yet within in walking distance off the very charming town. it’s a good centre for exploring the area.

the breakfast was very good indeed - many choices from the buffet trolley, more than enough in fact. Plenty of coffee to wake you up too! Lovely room with a double window overlooking the front of the hotel. Very polite and helpful staff who were very keen to help and explain things to us foreigners!

Lovely traditional French hotel in leafy yet central location. Very comfortable, friendly efficient staff, good breakfast and restaurant for evening meal. Free parking. Free room upgrade, being quiet end of October.

Hotel au décor charmant avec personnel efficace et sympathique

Hotel avec un décor un peu désuet, mais charmant. Petit parc bien entretenu. A portée immédiate du coeur de ville, du lac et de la forêt de Bagnoles. Le personnel est efficace et très sympathique. Le restaurant est également très bon.

L'immense radiateur dans la chambre 23 fait un petit bruit de cascade quand il chauffe. Ce n'est pas désagréable, mais ça peur gêner pour endormissement. Il nécessiterait d'être purgé souvent, ce qui serait pénible, et le mieux est donc probablement de mettre un capuchon de purge automatique, moins de 10 € en 1er prix, mais mieux vaut prendre bonne qualité pour éviter ennuis...

Kurort Flair

Alte anglo-normannische Villa, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gut die Lage, der kostenfreie Parkplatz direkt beim Haus,der freundliche Empfang, gute Betten. Großzügigerweise wurde auf die Berechnung des Frühstücks verzichtet - allerdings war der über booking.com verrechnete Zimmerpreis auch wesentlich höher als der im Hotel direkt angebotene.

Duscheinstieg nur über hohe Stufe. Das Restaurant im Haus ist sehr schön und stilvoll, konnte aber die in anderen Kommentaren hochgelobte kulinarische Leistung in unserem Fall leider nicht erfüllen.
