Comfy nights sleep with beautiful scenery. Perfect location and friendly staff. Location for eating the meal was lovely with an open fire.
Could only get out of one side of the double bed, with no bedside table to put tea or coffee. Kettle had to be plugged into a socket near the corner light as the drawers it was on had no plug near it. Paid £155 for one night, included breakfast. Dinner and a drink £50 bottle of wine £24 . So not a cheap getaway.

The view from the room was beautiful . The food was amazing. The log fire was the best feature of the whole hotel. It was huge and could sit and watch it for hours.
The carpet in the corridors leading up to the bedrooms was really dirty and could be doing with being replace or even just hoovered & cleaned. The bedroom floor in room 1 is definitely needing replaced or renewed.
