Location, bar and staff.
Nothing really, for an old building it had nice character and was well maintained.

The room was clean and light. The view through the bedroom over Loch Earn was really good.
It was awkward that the light and fan automatically started when you opened the bathroom door, I have to go to the bathroom during the night and they disturbed my husband.

Location and some of the new decor
This hotel has potential, however the manager was distracted and lacked attention to detail. Staff were trying their best but lacked training.
Bathroom bin in our room had not been emptied from previous guests. Bathroom was tired and in need of refurbishment. All in all a hotel that was in need of strong management, staff training and attention to detail.
