Receptionist on arrival very pleasant. Breakfast was fine. Music was quieter than awful louder music/noise the night before during dinner. Excellent chef.
No fan in the room. Had to upgrade because the initial room was pokey. Noise from the bar below was awful -staff shouldn’t join in the revelry with customers - bar attendant (?)was heard until 10.45.
Hostess a bit pushy - put us on a table in direct sun, during breakfast which was uncomfortable. She wasn’t forthcoming in moving us - seemed that it would inconvenience her - said the sun didn’t come out often, and blinds down would make the room dark.
