    Enjoyed our 2 nights at Stirling Highland Hotel. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Easy access to trains, city centre etc.

    The hotel is in an excellent location close to the castle and the town center. The exterior of the building was quite beautiful. The bedroom we staying in was dated and in need of some update and repair. The breakfast was very basic and not of the highest quality. The dining room seemed very sterile and almost cafe like. Overall a disappointing experience

    Never the standard of a 4 star hotel, my family and I never stayed as the room was totally unacceptable. Dirty bedding, dirty curtains with bird poo on them, used tissue on the floor, cracked tiles in the bathroom and mould, broken toilet seat. Bunk beds looked older than the titanic. There was Christmas decorations in the reception in August. When I spoke to the manager liz, let’s just say her customer service left a lot to be desired. Liz showed me a second room to try and convince me to stay, in this room I found dirty shorts behind the curtain. Liz confirmed the room had been cleaned by house keeping. Such a shame as we had just came from a lovely stay in broughty ferry, had to end the holiday early and drive up the road with disappointed children. How this hotel still has 4 stars is beyond me. 200 pound a night and still charge you 10 pound a night to park. Shambles.
