Nestled right next to the River Dochart, the hotel’s vintage setup offers a cozy feel. It’s a convenient spot for those arriving by car, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

I would not recommend this hotel and I question the reviews I read before booking this hotel.
Lovely location, big car park and that's it!
The public area is dark, dirty and uncomfortable. The seats are old, low and need replacing.
Our room was dirty and in need of a revamp. Our bed was marked and dirty, the pillows were uncomfortable, the duvet was thin and to small for a double bed,to be honest I lay on top of it, we didn't sleep much because the mattress was so uncomfortable.
The bathroom area was unbelievable, the toilet still had dried poo after the last quest, the toilet seat needed replacing because it was old and marked. The shower door did not fit properly and let water out when you used the shower( the water was hot) cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling over the shower. The vanity unit was un usable and the tap was stiff to change from cold and hot water.
Food was over priced and limited( 1 puddings was on offer) to be honest I wasn't brave enough to eat anything but soup after seeing how dirty the place was. My partner had chicken/chips /peas( some of the peas were old as they were pale compared to the others). Breakfast menu was coffe/tea/toast and you had a choice of bacon/sausage/egg bap!
Staff were ok, polite.
I would like to state very clearly that if we were in a car we would not have stayed there, we arrived on a motorbike in heavy rain and needed somewhere to shelter.
I feel very strongly that this hotel should be checked before anyone else visits there! I would like our money back but that is not going happen!

We stayed at The Luib Hotel for a night and were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the location and the warm hospitality.
We reached very late in the night—about two hours later than expected—but I called ahead to inform the hotel, and they were very understanding. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming even at that late hour, which we really appreciated.
The hotel has a charming, traditional Scottish feel to it, with mat flooring throughout that added to its rustic character. Free parking was available on-site, which was convenient for us.
Overall, it was a lovely, no-fuss stay with all the essentials covered and a touch of local charm. Great for a short stopover in the Highlands!
