Such a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly, attentive and the food was incredible. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Surroundings were peaceful and we loved every moment.

Enjoyed everything was truly unique. The house has a serious feel of a bygone era and the restoration is taking this into account. Highly recommend trying dinner it was delicious.
A fireplace in the lounge would be gorgeous and make it more cosy to enjoy this lovely lodge.

Room was comfortable, food was lovely and bar staff were friendly
At 10.50am we had a rather aggressive man knock on our door telling us that we should have checked out at 1030. We weren’t aware of the check out time as there was no information folder and we were actually in the process of leaving, having already put some bags in our car. This did not make us feel welcome as we felt he just wanted us to leave. It’s such a shame as we had actually enjoyed the rest of our stay
