Luib Hotel

We spent two days here, it was a great base to go off to Glencoe and Killin. John was friendly and gave good recommendations for food, running routes and golf!

It was fine.

Solo motorcycling back from Scotland, and the hotel was in the Perfect Location for me. Yes, it's an old Inn and a little tired, but what you pay for is the cosiness and convenience....oh, and the great staff and owner, so friendly and attentive. I arrived on a motorcycle soaked in the middle of a thunderstorm (it is Scotland!). I was welcomed like a lost son with no worries about the dripping clothes and gear. Let me tell you, that alone is worth its weight in gold. The food was well prepared and tasty (I had the burger....soooo nice), the bathroom was clean and the water hot, and the breakfast spot on. I enjoyed my short stay.

Wonderful location and friendly staff

Unless you both are skinny or tiny, the bed will not be big enough for 2. I am 5.7 and partner 6.2, guess who had to sleep on the floor? Not only that, but the mattress was so bad that when partner sat down I was almost catapulted into the air. Needless to say we did not get much sleep and thats not mentioning the busy road outside the window. Would be way better with 2 single beds.
