I liked the retro design somewhat funky and different, the host was lovely too

The only complaint I would have with this property would have to only be it was too cold they could put more heating on during winter stays

Woman was dead rude and the bathroom had poo stains on the toilet seat and overall it was pretty disgusting

A bit grotty but quite friendly

Quite friendly, comfy bed, clean bed linen

Some communal areas really grotty (bathroom steps, hallway carpet). Tonnes of clutter absolutely everywhere - boxes on the dining room table, boxes in the porch, boxes in the lounge. It was awkward about the dog - booking.com said it was pet friendly but the receptionist made out as if I had not done something properly when we arrived with the dog

Warm welcome with enjoyable stay

Our bedroom was huge with a big comfy bed and large bay window with seating. There was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. For us the location was perfect with a lovely stroll to both the town centre and the racecourse. Our host and woof the dog gave us a warm welcome.

Doncaster guesthouse

I am coeliac(Gluten free) and the owner went out of her way to recommend restaurants to visit. She also gave us great directions to some places to visit. We bought some meat from a local butcher's and she allowed us to store the meat in a fridge. Went out of her way to help us.

Escape the kids

Tracy is a very warm and welcoming host and clearly loves what she does. It's an ideal location for a night at the races and a very comfortable place to sleep. Breakfast is well worth the additional cost.

Lovely place

Gorgeous room, bed was extremely comfy. Much more up to date with decor than you usually get in a guesthouse. The host and her dog were very friendly!

Not much! Only things I could fault was having the bathroom separate (which we of course knew when we booked it) and that the bedroom sink had a drippy tap.

I really enjoyed our stay here! The room was adorable and had cute inn vibes. The bed was soooo comfy and the room was spacious. The owner was also very friendly and gave us some nice recommendations.

Our room was spacious, clean and decorated to a high quality, very comfy, we even had a microwave, kettle, fridge and was able to order in food, our hosy Tracy couldn't have been more helpful

Would not recommend, definitely not worth the money

The lady who checked me in was nice and helped with local recommendations

Scruffy entrance, shared bathroom (full of excrement), bins not emptied, have to run around in the shower to get wet, dirty cups, towels smelled rank, bed smelled rank, a guy who worked there walked into my room at one point, location not great (right on a main road and all sorts going off at night).

NYE stay

The room and bathroom were super spacious. Home from home feel, the bed was wonderful. The host was really friendly & helpful, if your a doggy lover, the guesthouse is also doggy friendly.

Nothing major, toilet in the main bathroom would be nice but it was still private to us and not shared with other guests.

Perfect for my one night stopover

This was a very quick stopover for me, but the bed was comfortable and the room a good size. I checked in at 10.15pm which was friendly and efficient. Space for cars at the front and a short drive from the station.
