A bit disappointed.

The location.

The noise that the taps made in the bathroom. The empty shower gel in the shower. The air-conditioning alarm that went off at 03:00. The rude chef at breakfast.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff.

Foods was great, room was clean and spacious, Main reception area and restaurant looked fabulous - great decor. Staff on reception were friendly, helpful and polite. It was nice and near to the racecourse - only a 2 min walk.

Beds were too firm for me. Had trouble with the air con - it did what it wanted to (I changed the temp, but it was still pumping out cool air. I turned it off, and it had turned itself back on by the morning) I was glad I took a blanket with me as I was cold at night.

Easy to find good location

When going into the room we noticed bright red stain on the carpet and muck stains, dust. The bed was comfy, sheets clean and bathroom was okay. Limescale in the shower and yellow discolouration of the shower floor

The restaurant closed at 9pm on a Friday? Bit early if you ask me. Didn’t arrive till 8;30pm after a 3 hour drive so never made the restaurant. Sandwich it was.

GREAT LOCATION FOR RACING,VERY GOOD VALUE AND ENJOYABLE STAY.

Very practical room,everything we needed.Superb view of the racecourse. Breakfast was very good ,with the staff helpful and positive.

The hotel exceeded expectations due the staff all performing very well,lead by involved management.Therefore I liked the whole stay.

We came to visit family after living in Doncaster years ago thought we would have a treat but not again

Location fine air conditioning on all night humming pillows too soft not enough information at check in about the hotel facilities. Wouldn’t stay there again

Waited ages to check in, when I got seen, I got given a door key to a room when someone was already using it, cases open room used, lucky enough the person was not in the room. Went back to reception, the receptionist was lovely about it. Gave me another room, which was nice., turned on the Aircon and it just constantly clicked, so I couldn’t have any temperature control all night. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel and room but staff left a lot to be desired

Good location and spacious room and bed

Staff fairly rude. Requested milk for a morning coffee and was told in no uncertain terms they don’t provide room service in the morning. I would suggest that stock of milk and coffee in the room is adequate enough so I didn’t need to ask for it.

Overall very impressed with the hotel, much nicer than the Hilton Excel in London.

The view was fantastic, it was quiet, the food was the lovely and the staff that I interacted with were lovely.

The mattress was way too hard, I knocked my leg on the wooden bit of the bed that was sticking out but other than that it was a good stay.

Room was lovely but lacking in a few things,no biscuits,fridge but no water,only 2 milk so had to go to reception for more,decor a bit bland,no cushions or matching bed spread,had to be 6' tall to reach toiletries,went for breakfast they said it was not paid for so i had to check with reception,it was booked,no appoligie,girl just took us to seats and said its selfservice!! At checking out girl never asked if we had enjoyed our stay or anything,been staying here a number of years and its not what it used to be,for a 4 star and its price i think it should b better

Superb views overlooking the racecourse out of the bedroom window. The bed is comfortable. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is an all you can eat, excellent food quality. In particular, the fried eggs were superb, complements to the chef!

The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut unless you locked it. This was reported to maintenance, so would have been fixed by the time you read this most likely. Using the hairdryer stirred up the air in the room, revealing some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, but otherwise really clean,

Cleanliness. I was in Room 705…accessible room booked, purely on cost, rather than physical need. There was a distinct smell of urine in the toilet. Having worked in the NHS for over 35 years, I understand that disabled guests may have accidents, however if you offer accessible rooms, you need to be able to address any of these issues. This was unacceptable.

Pleasant night's stay

Easy parking, smooth reception and then on to well laid out functional and comfortable room. Everything worked, Breakfast well organised and good choice. Evening meal of good qualty with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Comfortable nights stay reasonably close to motorway.

Was told the balcony wasn’t open in the evening when the band was playing but it was as we saw people on it while watching the band from the races. My preferences but pillows are not too high, no choice of smaller ones !

Great location to a the Race course, as we attended an event at the Race course. Available secure parking facilities . Air conditioning, tea/ coffee making facilities in rooms. Excellent bathroom with lotions and potions.
