The location is amazing and the deck of the property was floodlit by sun and there was a wonderful fireplace. We liked that there was a complimentary bottle of wine, the host was very informative and accommodating.

What an excellent stay! The Quarterdeck was comfortable, with incredible sea views (and if you're lucky, whale spotting!) and easy access to to the beach and everything we wanted to do in Simonstown. The hospitality and support of our hosts was also incredible. We would definitely stay here again!
I didn't 'dislike' this, but guests should be prepared to hire a car for the best mobility. Taxis are available but need to be booked in advance. Uber is also available but can sometimes be hard to get a ride quickly if there aren't cars in the area.

The keys were left in a locked box right next to the front door. So it was a self check in which was awesome. We received step by step instructions of exactly what to do to get the keys with a code which made it so easy.
