The serenity and security of the place. Beautiful home enveloped by grandeur mountains . There’s a nook in the room I slept in with some books, spent my mornings there!

Amazing view, beautifully furnished, little added extra surprises that made us feel special, local products for sale showing support.

A bit of a fiddle with the irrigation computer that was making a noise. The host helped us remotely to sort it out.

Our expectations were much higher

The property was clean and tidy. .. .............

It needs at least a dishwasher to make it easier to have some meals at the guest house. We were surprised at only one bathroom with the two bedrooms. The amenity of access to 'private' beach needs to be removed, it is far from it. Beach on not private and not does one have access to it, unless you are willing to hike a few miles up and down the moutain.

Best cottage stay

Stunning cottage with a 5-star look and feel. The owner sure does pay attention to detail. Wouldn't have expected: Fluffly white gowns, slippers, sewing kits, well equipped kitchen which also had some condiments. Everything you need is provided for. This is what I call a Pinterest moodboard coming to life.

Everything was great, but it is worth mentioning that the cottage is on the same establishment as the owners house. Also the only bathroom available is in the main bedroom and not separate - might not be ideal for couples.

Un cottage magnifique et parfaitement situé

Ce cottage est fantastique principalement pour deux raisons : tout d'abord la qualité de son aménagement et le confort d'y habiter. Tout est bien pensé et c'est un plaisir de s'installer dans ce très beau logement. Ensuite son emplacement : Hout Bay permet de visiter facilement a la fois la ville du Cap mais également la péninsule. La vue depuis la terrasse est simplement magnifique et il est possible d'aller faire directement a pied une très belle balade sur la plage voisine.

Alles was aanwezig. Een heel mooi, net appartement. De eigenaresse wilde zelfs mijn vergeten spullen opsturen super service.

We hebben de eigenaresse niet fysiek gesproken. Dat hoeft natuurlijk ook niet maar dat vinden wij altijd wel prettig. Maar we hebben het heel fijn gehad.
