Nice property, great staff, room too hot and space restricted.

The property was new and very clean. The staff were great. The grounds are great and the walk to town was short.

The room was very hot even with the windows open and the outside temperature being about 14C (57F). The walls are thin and you can hear people coughing, chatting and plugging into the plugs. The room size could have been a bit bigger.

Nice for an overnight stay.

We arrived in the middle of Storm Amy and were thankful of some where dry, warm and not moving as 'home' was a camper van. The lounge was a pleasant area where we waited and were given our key as soon as the room was ready which we appreciated. The bedroom was a little on the small side but fine for us. Tea and coffee etc as expected. Breakfast served quickly and the choice was very good.

I had not realised the relationship between this hotel and others in their 'family' within Ullapool. When booking be mindful of this fact, the restaurant we were told was nearly full was not in fact quite the opposite. We should have taken our time and double checked other hotels and restaurants more throughly.

Perfect for our needs as a one night stop and very welcoming and comfortable.

We received a very warm welcome and invited to have a wee dram . Our room had a view and was extremely comfortable. I loved the extra space provided in the lounge, especially with the light on, allowing me to read in the early hours when I could not sleep ( not through any discomfort with the room or bed, I should add ). loved the lake walk into Ullapool - perfect spot to break our journey.

Great location and walk into downtown Ullapool. The wee dram of whiskey or sherry at arrival was a lovely touch.

The room was tiny. Right next to the delivery bay so very noisy! Not sure what was going on upstairs but lots of banging early in the morning. Fresh fruit for breakfast would have been nicer the tinned fruit.

The lochside cabins are just amazing for comfort, views, solitude and comfort. Short walk to harbour in Ullapool. Good parking snd access.

This was a good place for us to spend a night and walk through Ullapool. There was a lovely beach walk in town as well.

The hotel was very welcoming - even offered a whiskey upon arrival! It is within an easy walk to the center of town and was clean and had a lovely sitting area just off the lobby and breakfast room. Our room was small but comfortable with an adequately spacious shower.

Lovely friendly hotel.

Possibly one of the best check in experiences we have had. Fabulous friendly welcome with a taste of whiskey and biscuits by a wonderful lady who covered everything we needed to know. Room was lovely with a fabulous view and super comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful service by friendly waitresses. Everything was clean and location was perfect. Would recommend for a base in Ullapool while travelling.

Only thing to improve would be a conditioner as well as shampoo in the bathroom but find this is the same in all hotels now so always bring my own.

Booking.vom said it was checking closing at 7pm which got me worried as I knew I wouldn’t make it in time for check in. Thankfully I spoke to the duty staff and she said it was fine for me to arrive at 8.30pm for check in. I was phoning from the car and got cut off due to the bad reception on the way to Ullapool.

A perfect stay

On arrival you are greeted with a glass of sherry or whisky and shortbread and a very friendly receptionist. The rooms though not large, are spotless and modern. There is a large comfortable lounge overlooking the loch too.

The location was fab.We were greated promptly by a smiling recrptionist and offered a taste of whisky,sherry and local shortbread..The place was superbly clean,the breakfast ,lounge and views were amazing.

The room was economy but still expensive.The first thing that happened was the toilet seat lid came off in my hand as I lifted it up.The plug did not work in the micro sink.

It was clean but charmless.

The breakfast was good and the staff very nice.The bedroom and bathroom was small ,but clean and the bathroom was recently remodeled. Nice view in the dining room.

The walls between the rooms must be vey thin because I could hear my neighbor snoring. It would have been nice if the had outside seating in the shade. It was a bit of a walk into town, so we had to take our car

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pleasant but slow. The view.

When considering the cost, the room was basic. One would expect a couple of comfortable chairs in the room . The walk-in shower looked impressive, but there was no power to it. It was difficult to get wet!
