Perfect Ubud experience

I loved everything about this place! It truly was a slice of heaven for me and the staff made it even better. It was quiet and in a perfect part of Ubud. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Relaxing!

Very safe and welcoming. The pool was lovely and if you want to be in the penestanan area it’s a perfect location. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller and will gladly stay here again. Also their dog is very cute.

If you have loud neighbors, the walls are not soundproof. Not the fault of the property, but the first night I was there I could hear my neighbors conversations through the walls. The rest of the stay was perfect!

A great location complemented by lovely staff - a very memorable stay.

Location was excellent. Close to some very good eating options and accessible by foot to a number of attractions but far enough away from the downtown bustle. Beautiful walks in the rice fields were a highlight. The staff were always helpful and genuine in their care. Our villa was very private in an oasis-like garden setting. Pool was lovely and enjoyed often.

A minor drainage issue in the bathroom but this did not detract from our wonderful stay.

Good-value stay if you’re looking for a quieter spot within reach of Ubud.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was ample sized and had a bar fridge. It wasn’t super hot whilst we were there, but the aircon whilst a touch noisy did a great job of cooling the room. It’s a little out of Ubud Central surrounded by some excellent coffee shops and cafes. We liked being able to retreat to a slightly quieter part of town and the rice terrace walk towards Paddy Point and beyond was stunning.

A couple of notes: while housekeeping came daily, we did have to ask for hand soap and toilet paper to be replenished. If I’m being pedantic the towels could also use an update. Renovations were underway during our stay, with work starting around 8am—not a deal-breaker for us, but worth knowing. Despite being listed as a BnB, breakfast wasn’t offered or mentioned at all during our stay—so don’t expect a morning meal unless that’s changed.

Amazing stay in nice neighborhood

The room was amazing, clean & nice! The pool was nice too. It was a really relaxed stay. We loved it ! Good bed. The staff came every day to clean and organize the room. AC. Fresh new towels everyday. The staff tried to help us as good as possible.

There was no easy possibility to refill our water. We always needed to ask. The entrance was maybe a little weird, i guess it is not finished yet.

Nice facility that would be a 10 if they made a few minor adjustments to improve comfort

The room was nice and clean when we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet and the pool was very nice. Good AC and the facility was very nicely decorated. There was a good refrigerator in the room.

The bathroom windows didn't have any screens, so we had issues with ants most days since we opened the windows after showering. There was no hand soap provided and the shower gel soap smelled bad. The bed was fine but not great due to the sheets being pretty itchy for one of us.

The property’s location is excellent. It’s very close to many great restaurants, which serve the healthiest food. In addition, the property seems like a sanctuary, quiet, very clean, and the staff are amazing. Moreover, Made, his wife and family live there. They were instrumental in me having a very happy, peaceful and healing time during the time I spent with them. The swimming pool is so inviting and the property with its temple, greenery, and the way it’s constructed, all call out one’s soul to feel uplifted and serene. I have made friends with every one who is there. And, I will be staying there many times in future trips to Ubud.

I have zero dislikes about the property. For me, it is the place that I felt wholesome and genuinely happy.

Everything about this place was great! The rooms are huge and clean. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great and very convenient. And the price was more than fair for what you get! Can't recommend this place enough, it's a great place to stay in Ubud!

Lovely, clean and comfy

Lovely place and it's owned and run by Made who was helpful, kind and very responsive. Other staff members were really great - Puttu, Wayan and Daya. I have a fear of geckos and they helped chase most of the geckos and seal off the doors to prevent geckos from coming in. The bathroom and bed were clean. You feel comfortable and at home here. It's also 5 mins away from Alchemy yoga and it was 4 mins away from Ayung Terrace by motorbike which I really appreciated.

The staff was absolutely amazing--so helpful and responsive during my stay. The facilities were beautiful and thoughtfully organized, and the internet worked really well. I also loved that it's almost half homestay and half hotel. I have absolutely no complaints. Cahyatika House is truly a gem.

Amazing! loved it!

The staff was so amazing and friendly. Loved it. They brought us our private drinking water tank to the room and organized an additional bed on short notice. We had some special requests and they fullfiled them all. Thanks a lot!
