This was a lovely Hotel staff lovely and friendly the pool lovely we had breakfast a part of the deal limited. The room where great private little garden. Love the bathroom. The only downside to this if you have any walking aid this would not been the hotel for you. There are many step to walk down or up. I walk with a stick and found it hard. There is transport from the hotel to the they coffee stop where you can get a taxi from. We had trouble with our phone and could use them. But if you are not affect by this great hotel.

We stayed 2 and a half weeks and enjoyed every moment. The staff were wonderful, very discreet and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is a little gem, tucked away from all the noise but in easy reach of all Ubud has to offer. We loved it and will certainly be returning again.

I absolutely adored my time at this hotel. I had a Deluxe Superior Room for 27 days as I was taking a nearby workshop. Property was super nice, restaurant was good, pool was fantastic, and the staff was unbelievably helpful with anything I needed (included a lot of laundry!). I loved the outdoor shower, and the AC was great considering the humidity. One thing I didn't know when I signed up was that the car I hired to drop me off could only go to the secondary restaurant location. The road up to the hotel isn't big enough for cars (totally fine for scooters), so they have a golf cart that picks you up to bring you to the place. This was not at all a problem for getting Grab scooters, but if you needed a car, you'd have to select one of two different locations. One of which was at the bottom of the Penenstanan stairs. It was also VERY nice to be within walking distance of Ubud central, but it was significantly quieter and much more interesting to be at Alam Wayang. I LOVED the small walking path to the grocery store as well, and all the little cafes tucked along it.
