The Hava Ubud A Pramana Experience

The hotel was stunning blending traditional Balinese design with modern convenience. This was exemplified in the hotel rooms which were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurants conveniently located on site.

Overall good hotel, quiet place and friend staff. The rooms were clean and well kept although there was a slightly overpowering smell of bleach which the staff quickly tried to remedy with an additional AC unit. The onsite restaurant had an array of dishes which were nice (not amazing). Ubud centre is a 20 min walk or short taxi away although this is up and down a relatively steep hill. The hotel offers a shuttle bus at specific times although traffic is usually packed. Nice restaurants close by and plenty of things to do in the area.

We stayed 5 nights here as a conclusion of a 3 week journey in Indonesia and we simply loved it! Every single staff member was so nice and seemed to genuinely care, always greeting us with a big smile and we enjoyed our countless talks throughout the day. Then there’s the attention to detail: from the beautiful flower display in our room when we arrived, to daily, immaculate housekeeping (even with an extra housekeeping check up in the evening or imagine coming home with your sheets drawn aside and the complimentary slippers carefully placed on each side , to the general facilities, to food, drinks and services provided. We had a very nice dinner at the Clover cafe but the breakfast was the best we’d had on our entire trip. Don’t miss out on the Mango banana smoothie bowl with homemade granola! Loved that breakfast was a à la carte (except fruit and juice). Pool was also great. Plenty of towels and loungechairs - perfect for a timeout between visits to the city center. Free shuttle was a great addition although also easy to get rides on Grab (walking into town is possible but tricky due to the crazy traffic and poor road conditions - ok in daytime but don’t do it after dark).
