Quiet, walkable location. Nice room with balcony. Excellent breakfast on offer and the best coffee guy out front.

everything was great but if we need to nitpick then adding shelfs and towel bars in the bathroom.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hidden paradise. Restful and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and very willing to help, breakfast was delicious and the coffee was some of the best we've ever had in Bali. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful escape while still being near the main attractions.

The only downside was there is only stairs up to the rooms, but it was not a massive issue as the staff were more than willing to carry our bags for us and it was much appreciated!

Hidden Padma is our favourite place in Bali, no change, the place and staff are excellent 👏 👌

The property is beautiful and peaceful, set in lush, tranquil gardens, overlooking a gorgeous pool, and pond the gardens are beautifully taken care of. There is a delicious breakfast available every morning and a fabulous coffee kiosk attached to the front, the staff are so lovely, helpful and gracious.

Nothing really

Love everything about this property. Always happy to return. The staff are exceptional and as a solo woman travelling I always feel safe and well liked after. The gardens are so well tended and beautiful.

I loved the quietness of the location, the pool, the staff always willing to help with a smile and the privacy.

The only thing I would suggest is that water be available in reception to fill our own bottles. I did not like the excessive plastic wastage in the 2 small bottles provided daily. I loved the coffee from the shop at the front.

The location (calm and beautiful street)

As the price was very low, we had low expectations, but we shouldn't have. It was the nicest little hotel! The grounds are so peaceful and lovely with the greenery, the pond and the pool. The room is very nice and had a nice shower and everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located in a small street with no car, but the staff picked us up/dropped us off with a buggy. And for daily exploring, one can take the stairs to the main street or the little walking paths along the irrigation channels. Lots of little cafés and restaurants nearby.

The mattress was a bit hard for my liking, but this is very personal.

Excellent value for money. Tucked away from the main road, it is wonderfully peaceful. To get there, they'll send you a meeting point and then arrange a buggy car ride to the hotel. The room was clean and while the design is a bit dated, it didn't bother me. There's even a great coffee shop right out front.

The only minor drawback is the stairs you need to go to reach the main road, a bit of a workout.

At first I was a bit disappointed by this property’s location as I booked it due to location on bookings.com map. However where it actually is (750m up the rd) is much nicer, quieter and easy to access Ubud and sayan.

The showers

Great location, nice and quiet! The staff were brilliant and super accommodating. They organise a buggy car to collect you from a Main Street as it’s not accessible via car so that you don’t have to travel by foot with your luggage

Quite sheltered by the trees so won’t get much sunbathing in by the pool

There’s a really restaurant close by.

Staffs not really friendly, especially the receptionist who made me wait 1h before checking me in, and then left and forgot me… then he made me change the room the day after. Lack of manners. The Hotel is pretty hard to access, and there’s not much parking. Really hard to get hot water from the shower, with really low pressure.

Beautiful facility, friendly staff, good breakfast, good location

The hotel's constantly changing guests sometimes cause disturbances at night. This should be strictly enforced, including by posting visible signs throughout the hotel grounds, that quiet hours must be observed from 10 p.m.

Great value, pool is very pretty and large, awesome room patio, quite location but still close to the city center, coffee shop on site is a major plus

Beds are hard and room facilities are average, but expected with the price range and still a great budget friendly accommodation!

We liked the place, it is very close to the forest and to Campuhan ridge walk. It is 20 minutes walking from Ubud center, but if you want you can use a taxi. The staff was very friendly, they immediately solved one problem we have with air conditioning. The breakfast is rich, the bed and bathroom are large. The pool is comfortable and, with the entire structure, it offers a very good sense of relax.

Everything , great place and great location

Only criticism was the beds were a little hard for us, but they soon rectified that.

Beautiful stay here, fantastic location, the staff were lovely. would definitely stay again. This is a hidden gem.. truly lovely calming feel to the place.

Breakfast was very good. the basic was main dish (few choices) + coffee + fresh fruit juice

one time wifi in room was great another time was quite poor. so if i wanted work it was difficult a little bit but not imposible.

the room is very very damp. the shower is very weak. and lots lots of ants are coming out from one corner, and i had to kill them at least twice a day, which was creepy.

This hotel is in the perfect location for all your main needs; walking distance to the centre of Ubud, close to delicious restaurants, and a short walk to some of the best yoga spots (not to mention beautiful surroundings and views of the mountains). The staff are also incredibly attentive, kind, and fun to chat to- I highly recommend Hidden Padma! However, there are a few things some people might want to consider before they book that are typical across Bali: 1) like most Balinese architecture, the hotel is semi-open so expect a few leaves, insects, or even rain to get into the corridors and balconies. This may even cause some damp in the rooms, but the staff are constantly cleaning so you won’t have to worry about it for long! 2) you might find some stains on the bedding or towels. I can assure you that everything is perfectly clean, but if this is off putting the staff will give you new bedding or towels anytime you need! Your room can also be fully cleaned any time you want, just ask. Your personal laundry can be taken and dropped back at the hotel for 20k per kg, or there are plenty of laundrettes in the surrounding area! 3) the mattresses are a little hard for anyone not used to it, but I think it helped fix the kink in my back! 4) don’t expect great WIFI in your rooms for remote working. There are electric sockets in the dining area which has good WIFI and is usually empty! A 30-35gb SIM should last the month hotspotting video calls day-in day-out. 5) the breakfast range is limited but all the food is delicious and comes with juice and coffee/ tea for 35k, so you won’t go hungry (I recommend the pancakes!). There are also plenty of shops, fruit stalls, and cafes close by for more variety. Overall, I had a great stay- Matur Suksma!

Excellent location to explore on foot. Much quieter and less traffic than the centre of Ubud town. Plenty of nice restaurants, warungs, bars, spas etc nearby. The hotel was lovely; spacious and clean room, great deep pool for swimming, and amazing view from the 4th floor for the beautiful sunrise/sunset.

The room and the pool were really good and the staff was always ready to help! A really perfect place when visiting Ubud.

The only little thing is the wi-fi conection that during the day is slower.
