Can say only good things about the place, it had everything we expected & needed during our week-long stay. Communication with the host was very smooth, which made check-in easy. We appreciated being able to wash/dry our clothes, the nice bath tub and small garden. A lot of space in the second floor and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook something at home. No issues locating the place. Various transportation options made getting around Kyoto easy.

We LOVED our stay here! We were here for 4 nights and although we wish it were longer, it was our favorite place that we stayed on our 2 week trip in Japan. Clean, stocked with everything you would need during a stay…the bathroom was so nice, the water pressure and toiletries in the shower was amazing! The beds were so comfortable and cozy! We were always excited to get into bed after a long day of exploring! Place is close to a lot of different things and a super short easy walk to a bus stop. There is a great little vegan cafe around the corner called SilverBacks…definitely check it out. I hope to come back to Kyoto again and hope to be able to stay here when I do come 💖💖💖

It was a large property with living space separate from sleeping. And it had a washer and dryer in unit.

The staircase was very narrow.
