the breakfast is very tasty and extensive. The accommodation is located nearby other village's. Bernadette and Pascal are such kind and wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome in their home. We're so happy we can bring our two dogs and cat along. Your wonderful dinner with local Normandie cuisine was the highlight. Thank you so much, Bernadette and Pascal, for your hospitality. Where to start? The place is amazing, our son got to pet the horses and collect the eggs from the hens! The owners are absolutely lovely with a smile on their faces and always willing to help us! we would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

if I had to say something would be that it was a bit hard to get something to eat in the village nearby in the afternoon especially on Sunday but other than that, book the place!

Exceptional

If you are looking for a stay in the Normandy countryside, this is the place! We stayed at Maison de Charme with our two daughters (9 and 5 years old) and our dog and all of us really liked it. The breakfasts are really good and the children enjoyed to visit the horses and collect eggs from the hens. The owner Bernadette really put her heart and soul into her work!

it’s a genuine beautiful manor, with fantastic hosts. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast magnificent . Kids enjoyed caressing the horses and playing in the garden even when it became rainy. our dog was welcomed as well.

Great experience in old farm house.

Great experience staying in a 600 years old Normandy farm with modern facilities. The owner was so kind to prepare a dinner for us since we arrived late with all stores closed. She offer us cheese with their home made wine and apple ciders which was so good. And she gave us one battle as gilft when we leave. She made us feel like her old friends visiting even we talked through Google translation. We stayed three nights Just wish staying there for longer time and we want to come back again. Thanks a lot.

Excellent stay, excellent host.

In middle of village, heritage property. It looks away , but 5 minutes you reach highway and 20 minutes to Caen city. You can visit mont saint michel in 1.15 hours, Normandy beach in 1 hours and honfleur in 1 hour . So if you want to visit Normandy , almost perfect location . We stayed with kids ( please don’t forget to buy calvados/pommeau, with cash payment ). Also please don’t miss having dinner ( it’s worth experiencing ) .

Amazing hosts and amazing home!!!

Bernadette and Pascal were amazingly nice and their farm was beautiful! We were met with cookies, cider, and conversation, and they gave us ideas of where to go for dinner. We could not have stayed anywhere finer!!!

Amazing home and host

This was a very special stay for my family and I during our D Day and more general history trip around Northern France. On arrival the host, Bernadette made us feel right at home with some home made apple juice and dessert wine (yum!). We then agreed on breakfast and other plans for our stay before being shown to essentially a whole annex of rooms for us to use all to ourselves. The farm house is old and beautiful but the bathroom in particular was amazingly modern. The breakfast was very tastey with home grown produce thrown in. Nearby there is a small town with all of your needs so it is not as remote as it might first appear. Would definitely recommend.

Wir können alle vorherigen Bewertungen bestätigen, Bernadette und Pascal sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die sich viel Zeit für uns nahmen. Sicher hätten wir noch viel mehr Interessantes erfahren, wenn wir französisch sprechen würden, aber Google sei Dank haben wir uns gut verständigt. Der Gutshof liegt traumhaft in der ländlichen Normandie, mit unserem Hund konnte ich direkt vom Hof aus lange Spaziergänge an den Feldern und Wegen in die Natur machen. Die Zimmer waren liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
