Very comfortable and convivial hotel. The staff were such good value, kind, helpful and fun!! Brilliant location and excellent food both in the restaurant and at breakfast.

The Lagg is a fantastic hotel in a great location. The reception rooms were modern and comfortable, the bar had a house stout that was beautiful. The restaurant served tasty home style food. The bedroom was warm, clean and very comfortable with great amenities. The welcome from all staff was warm and genuine, thank you.

Location is fantastic.
Food, menu was unimaginative and food not well presented. Public bar has a minus level of atmosphere. Decor in bar and breakfast room not appealing, a bit too bare. Did not like the cook coming in to take breakfast orders in shorts and a baseball cap.
