Lochranza Country Inn

Nice location. A bit worn but clean. Room had only windows in roof, so no outlook. Nice and welcoming staff. Good food and good atmosphere in restaurant/bar. Remember to book table in advance in peak-season.

Beautiful location with amazing views across the bay and further beyond, occupies a very peaceful location and especially quiet at night time (just great!). The community are delivering a praiseworthy experience providing clean, tidy rooms (no. 10 at the front has "the view") and a great food and drink offer in the bar. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the evening bar staff (Cosmo & Peter) did a great job managing, serving, clearing and general catering for a very busy bar at peak trading hours. Good & varied continental breakfast provided with a smile. Not a "boutique" hotel but that was never expected- it delivered what we wanted and will look to return one day.

Nothing of any real concern especially reflecting the pricing and nature of this community owned hub.

The staff were very friendly. the check in process was quick and easy. Room was comfortable. View was great. Bar food was good. Continental Breakfast was good. Location was great for a morning ferry.

Room as a little on the small side. Curtains did not provide any blackout, but were adequate for a dark room. Heating did not appear to be functional, but the room was comfortable and cool through the night.
