We booked the Lochranza Country Inn very last minute due to the ferries being cancelled. It is 2 minutes from the ferry dock and the views just make it the perfect place to stay (even for an unplanned extra night) the staff were lovely and so kind. The food was also excellent. When we come back to Arran it is on our list of places to stay.
Don’t think there was anything not to like.

Great location in the Birth of Arran. Perfect as a base for walking or sightseeing.
The ferry service to Arran badly needs improved, and the current Scottish Government are inept awarding new ferry contract to yards which have failed to deliver on time or on budget

This was an excellent place to stay, located in a beautiful area and reasonably priced. The room was clean and had all the amenities and extras available. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the island.
