The location is great; an easy walk to town and ferry and well situated for exploring both north and south ends of the island.
The cooked breakfast was superb; well cooked and beautifully presented, plenty of choice and plenty to eat.
The building is charming and dining room and lounge area tastefully decorated to suit period and character.
A bonus to have access to wine glasses and cutlery for evening drinks and snacks.
The mattress was very uncomfortable and the room quite compact for 2 large individuals. The coat hangers were mostly broken. The bathroom was so small and poorly laid out that the door didn't open fully, towels didn't dry, lights in shower and over basin didn't work, neither did the extractor fan. And you need to be a contortionist to reach the loo roll when seated.
