Excellent location

Have returned multiple times due to the excellent location of this property. Spacious with comfortable beds. Facilities like the gym and pool are great - wish the cafe was open longer at the weekends (7am-2pm).

Properties feel a bit tired. Our apartment had a couple of issues like a broken dishwasher drawer and although the apartments have full cooking facilities, they are lacking in food prep items like chopping boards etc. We usually eat out more but had an elderly relative with us so wanted to self cater which was tricky. Balcony chairs could do with cushions.

The best place to base yourself in Cape Town

Wonderful apartment in a great location. Very secure with parking facilities. The apartment is spacious, clean and bright with aircon. The balcony view is an amazing way to spend a lazy morning. It was great to have a gym on site for guests to use with a lovely coffee/breakfast spot next to it.

Location was excellent- very secure, convenient, a few minutes walk to the Waterfront, but serene and nestled away from the hustle and bustle.

One night when I was away from the premises and needed to extend my booking, I could not reach the reception desk by phone. I called in 3 times and was disconnected each time.

Good location, nice new spacious apartment with decent view

Housekeeping on the first day was terrible, also wind makes balcony doors move and thud so it sounds like someone is trying to break in.. also the lift wasn’t working when we got there and my 73 old mother had to climb stairs all the way up to the 5th floor, the did get it fixed about 2.5hrs later though

Communal facilities really bad - cold swimming pools with old broke sunbeds and a cafe which closed just after lunch - and it should not need a guest to tell them light bulbs don’t work, a satellite box is missing, bath plug is broken etc

Amazing location, expected better of the accommodation

• Air conditioning. • Location is beautiful and secure (keycard access and patrols every 20 minutes). • Free, secure parking (through Marina Residential gate, up the ramp, on the left to reception and then one level up again for parking). • Friendly, attentive staff. • Great shower (water pressure and temperature). • Free Brut, chocolate-covered almonds, milk, coffee pods, etc. • Good Wi-Fi (~150 Mbps up and down). • Free early (~1.5 hours) check-in was allowed.

• Bad noise insulation - you can hear quite clearly through the doors and walls, even to outside and other apartments. • Apartment was in a little bit of a state of disrepair - flickering ceiling light above the TV, very clicky and sometimes loud clanking air conditioning, toilet flush was unreliable, window wouldn't lock, etc. • No hand-held shower head. • Frosted glass bathroom door means that you disturb your partner when turning the light on at night. • No control of the temperature of the plunge pool, and there were a lot of dead bugs in it. • We didn't have a key to the patio door, so even though there were steps to / from the concourse, we had to go into the building and through our front door. • The double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses, and not particularly comfortable.

The location was great getting in and out was easy

Tried contacting the manager in person and by email a few times. He has just ignored me 1) For 2 nights of our 4-night stay, my kids had to sleep on the floor and couch because the lights in the third bedroom kept flickering on and off. I complained about this on night 1 and night 2 2) For 2 nights of our 4-night stay, the downstairs air con did not work, and we all woke up in a hot sweat early each morning. 3) I was stuck at the turnstile gate due to the tag system failing 4) I woke up after the third night to glass on the floor in the living room from a burst light bulb. The glass has been cleaned up, but despite my speaking to reception about it this morning, the light has not been replaced, and all of the living room lights are not working 5) I just went to the toilet, only to find that there is NO WATER in my apartment at any of the taps

The property is a walking distance to Victoria and Alfred waterfront, it is safe, rooms are spacious.

The housekeeper they don’t clean properly they just do some touch ups and leave, no refills of water in the fridge, after 5 days you have to remind them to change the linen. No extra blankets in the bedrooms cupboard. No refill of washing pods if used.

Exceptional in every regard!

Simply put - everything! Location. Property itself - beautiful, bright, modern, spacious. Stayed heading into Winter and was fabulous. Over summer it would be hard to beat, other than perhaps for the strong winds that whip against the bedrooms at night. But that could happen anywhere. Overall it was as close to a perfect place for a family getaway as one could hope for

There was nothing we didn’t like, per se. Just potential for a few easy and logical “fixes” that would add convenience. The bathrooms don’t have towel rails or hooks, which seems like an obvious oversight for such a high-end, immaculate property. Low-hanging fruit. We found the lighting in the living area to be quite dull. From the architecture it’s easy to understand why it could be tricky to install more ceiling lights, however, there should then be some floor-standing lamps, particularly in the dining area.
