I needed a different environment to work from for the week as I was going to be working long hours. The WiFi was exceptional and I managed to get my work done without any interruptions. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. There were two extra duvets for the chilli nights. It’s like they knew I like a warm bed. It was very clean as well with fresh clean linen.
It’s not the apartment or owner’s fault, but I think the building in general is not well sound proofed. You can still hear noise from the street. It was not a train smash and did not take away from my overall experience of the apartment

The location of the apartment block is great
I have stayed in this block before but it was first time in number 306. The apartment needs some basic maintenance. It’s also very noisy because of proximity to the road and sports cars revving down the road in front on weekends especially.

AS it is advertised as self-catering, there was NO dish cloths available, making the basic washing up very difficult.
There should be a contact number to chat to the key holder as it is not possible to arrive at an exact time.
We arrived early and the general number was permanently busy, very frustrating when one has just driven 1000 km.

I liked the facilities, the location, the cleaning and also how pleasant Mr. Isac, the security guard who was doing the evening shift. Very pleasant person.
I also appreciated the promptness that the management allowed me to do a late check-out.
I have asked for an early check in, and we waited on the restaurant next door. The check in was done at 3:45 PM. So from 12:30 onwards we had to wait

These are minor niggles, but the silicone sealant in the shower needs to be replaced. There is a crack on the wall dividing bedroom and bathroom. The door into the bedroom needs a coat of paint.

1. The bathroom was smelling damp throughout our stay
2. There was no Dstv available
3. The Netflix was not working
4. There was no cleaning services included in the rate, so daily the apartment was in a messy condition. There should be cleaning included in the rate especially for long stays.
5. Better pillows needed to blend in with the upmarket apartment.

Location was ideal, proximity to coffee and woolworths and restaurants excellent. Room comfortable with self catering. Essentials all in place.
Roadside parking very limited so check in check out from garage was a little slow but staff were there to assist quickly

As always this address is perfect for a short stay in Cape Town, it is walking distance do Sea Point (walking promenade), Waterfront (shopping and activities) and CPT Center (restaurants and etc). The apartment, in particular, has all the amenities necessary for a short stay: washing machine clothes/dishes and respective detergents; refrigerator (and a nearby supermarket - Woolworths, 2 mins away); decent size closet with plenty of hangers; iron board and iron; plenty of clean unstained towels; bathroom accessories; internet worked perfectly every where in the apart; tv - no cable, but YT and Netflix; plenty of heaters for CPT's cold weather.
I take it that this property/building has many management companies for specific apartments (I have stayed at 35 on Main and seems like every time there is a new management company). I do have to add that the last apartments lack some maintenance: moldy smell, mismatched utensils, worn furniture. And if you are a light sleeper, the windows were not enough to block noise and, the room window, had no curtains.

Easy access to the Waterfront, lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance and the beach too.
The facilities in the apartment are brilliant and excellent wifi!
Do ensure you schedule a time to meet host as you would otherwise not be able to gain access.

To park your vehicle, there is a car lift. Had a small vehicle which made is fun. Not sure about the experience to bigger/longer vehicles.
Unfortunately the apartment faces the road so the night and early morning traffic can be an irritant.

1)Check in was very poor. I was informed the room would be ready from 1530 hours; but the housekeeper was only done after 1700 hours. I came back twice to check.
2)Bed linen was quite old.
3) No soap for laundry and no tumble drier.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and neat. It is in walking distance of many restaurants and grocery stores.
When we arrived the doorman was unsure of our arrival and we had to call in and let the hosts know we had arrived. However we did not have to wait long as the host was there in no time to greet us.

As it is close to all areas, traffic noise also accompanies this pro. They have however masked it well with double glazing.
I am a big guy and would like a bigger than queen bed.
Car lift could get daunting for some especially with bigger cars.

Location was perfect, suited my needs
Had to ask for a remote for the garage even though I requested parking. Had to ask for teaspoons and cleaning materials for the kitchen. The bedroom rug should have been discarded a long time ago. There was hair on the bedroom side table and floor when I arrived. The blind in the bedroom was broken. These things should all have been checked prior to my arrival. It was sorted out for me a day later, but it was disappointing.
Collecting the key in the middle of town where there is no parking was also not great
