Elegant V&A Waterfront Canal Apartment

Location was great and the support from the agent and cleaning were excellent

The apartment is a little tired and I’m need of a refurb. One bathroom didn’t have a shower. The balcony view was largely obstructed by tree bush growth

The Location, and the space

The main bedroom had a main shower and a shower in the bath and the 2nd bedroom had no shower at all. Also no shaving mirror and he hairdryer we couldn’t get to work until we put it in an adapter

Beds should be kingsize beds. Double beds not within prize range accommodations standard. 1 set towel/ hand towel not sufficient for 5 nights Blinds lacking in 1 bedroom. Seeing that curtains are not blockout it was a nuisance. Tiles in shower not non- slip. BIG ISSUE. Kitchen lacks sufficient number of drinking glasses - should be 4 water and 4 soda/ soft drink glasses. Glasses are mismatched which does not meet with the required standard in this price range. 4 plates per category is not sufficient. Constant washing. There should be at least 6 of each. Toilet brush in one room broken. Towels very hard. Agents need to inform visitors about window cleaners …. Did not appreciate the unexpected invasion of privacy without prior notice. Scatter cushions are not fresh. Smelly.
