Super helpful staff, included necessities like coffee, sugar , milk and fruits. Love the open kitchen area, enough towels ect provided. We stayed here with our 2 daughters 10 years old and they really enjoyed their stay.

What we loved most was the unique character of the apartment. The different theme for each apartment gives the place so much personality, and ours was beautifully styled. It was also lovely and spacious, especially the kitchen and lounge, which made it feel like a home away from home. We also really appreciated the wonderful hot shower with excellent water pressure after a day of exploring—such a simple thing, but it made a big difference. The location was ideal—within walking distance of some fantastic cafés, restaurants and attractions, with Ubers readily available whenever we wanted to explore a little further. The little extras were also much appreciated. Having dish soap, hand soap, olive oil, salt and pepper already provided made settling in so much easier, and the welcome chocolates left on the bed were a lovely touch—even if we never got around to enjoying them! The two sets of keys were a thoughtful touch, making it much easier for everyone to come and go independently. The laminated guest guide was also excellent; it was clear, well laid out, and the photos made everything really easy to find and understand. The hosts came across as genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. And as fellow pet lovers, we really appreciated that the property is pet-friendly—it added to the warm, welcoming feel of the place.
There were only a few small things that could make an already great stay even better. The lockbox was a little tricky to use at first with the double-button mechanism, and it's mounted quite high, so we found ourselves (as fellow shorties!) having to stand on the stone on the higher side to reach it comfortably. There was also a slight chemical-type smell around the entrance, although we did notice the air freshener there, so we're not sure if it was that or perhaps the construction next door. It was only noticeable as we came in each time. A small bottle of milk in the fridge and a few tea bags (something like Five Roses) would have been a lovely welcome touch, especially after travelling. It would have been nice to enjoy a cup of tea before needing to pop out to the shops for milk. The pop-up power outlet in the kitchen island seemed to get stuck in the raised position, so we weren't able to push it back down, which made it a little awkward at times. The larger sofa is positioned at a 90-degree angle to the TV, so we found ourselves using the smaller sofa instead. It might be worth simply swapping the two sofas around, as it would make watching TV a little more comfortable. A coat rack or a few wall hooks near the entrance would also be a handy addition for hanging coats, bags and hats when coming in. One small safety improvement would be adding a transition strip or edging between the kitchen and lounge, as the lip caught my foot once or twice. Similarly, a grab rail in the shower would be a great addition. The shower-over-bath is quite deep and can feel a little daunting getting in and out when everything is wet. The towels were clean and good quality, but a larger bath towel for showering would be much appreciated. The smaller bath towels seem to be becoming the norm these days, but we still love a generously sized towel after a shower! The electric heater in the lounge also didn't seem to be working during our stay.

You get what you pay for. I am being honest when I say that with only a few extra rands one would be able to cook something better. The place needs a very good deep clean. There is no proper lighting at night when working just out of the cottage and then you have to be careful not to step in any dog poo as the neighbours in the complex have dogs and don’t bother cleaning just after..I did not see anyone sweep and hose the complex, the dirt bins are also just outside the front door of this cottage so there is often a very ugly smell. The first room with the little toilet in it is mouldy and the owners should have a look at it. I am too picky and did not spend too much time in the cottage but when I was there I did not like it very much.. I am sorry but I am being honest. It’s not good value for money as the days before we stayed in a 5 star hotel with breakfast which was only a few hundred rands more.. Do your research well..
