Beach Front Bliss + Inverter+parking

Lovely spacious apartment with a terrace overlooking the ocean. Plenty of seating and a well equipped kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms are also comfortable and clean.

It was quite cold! There was only one AC/heating unit in one of the bedrooms that didn’t work to heat the entire apartment and the windows are single glazed, so it was colder inside than outside.

The apartment is well-kitted out and centrally located, with a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Great washing machine and dryer that came in handy, lovely Weber gas braai on the deck and the kitchen had everything we needed. The main bedroom was very spacious. Massive bed. An even more massive TV in the living room. It was a really good space to stay in as a couple. We also had a couple come over for dinner a few nights, and sitting on the terrace was lovely. The mini pool is an actual pool - not a hot tub. It was cute and perfect to just cool off. Communication with the agent was great - the iron stopped working while we were there, and they replaced it within a few hours. It has a dedicated parking space for the flat - we did not have a car during our stay, but we had a visitor one evening for dinner and used it for them to park, so that was handy for them vs parking on the street.

It's not a dislike, just an awareness, so please take it as feedback to consider when booking. Anyone booking needs to know that Seapoint is busy and noisy. We stayed five nights, and each was disrupted by cars revving at 4 am (its a known problem at the moment and all buildings are affected), police sirens clearing street of illegal sleepers (a common occurrence across Cape Town), street-cleaning teams (they were getting Seapoint ready for the big cycle race), etc. Also note that in the second bedroom, the bed is a small double and pushed against the wall. Tiny room, but would be great for kids. The owner had done a few renovations just before our arrival as part of general maintenance, and they seem to be on top of that. I would also advise the owners to consider adding an umbrella for use on the terrace, as the hot sun made it just not workable and required shading. It would be perfect to sit there under the shade and enjoy the outside space. Also, keep the windows on the outside of the building clean, and especially the glass around the pool area, which was a bit grubby. There was construction in the area, so it was very dusty, but it would be more enjoyable sitting in the pool with clear glass for the view. The roadside window in the second bedroom needs to be professionally cleaned from the outside. Also, fix the blind in the second room - it didn't work properly, and it's awkward to reach, given the limited space to move around with the bed.

L appartement est vraiment spacieux et confortable, bien situé pour visiter la ville.Il est préférable d avoir sa propre voiture tout de même car a pied ça peut faire loin.

L appartement est juste devant une route très fréquentée du matin au soir (de nuit également),c est donc très bruyant dans les chambres , je le déconseille donc pour les personnes ayant le sommeil léger !De plus pour une location de 6 jours ,une bouteille d eau fraîche a l arrivée et une ou 2 pastilles lave-vaisselle et de café ne serait pas un luxe….

As visually Impaired person, the host refused to let us in when we arrived early. Booking dot com was not assisting us either
