Excellent property at the foot of the mountain. Calm and tranquil with great views front and back. Lovely decor, big rooms and perfect for our 5 nights. Entertaining areas inside and out were spacious although kitchen is slightly constrained. Location felt safe. Security was good. We walked from the door up the mountain.
Swimming pool is more of a pond - it was good for a cooling dip but not somewhere to spend lots of time. Communication needs to be improved - it was disconcerting having so little communication ahead of us travelling to SA given the amount being spent to hire the house. Some minor issues - front door very difficult to open (mentioned on many other reviews dating back several months), faulty toaster.

Great location and great place to be to explore Cape Town. Unfortunately too cold for the natural pool (pond). Very secure and private.

Beautiful location and spacious rooms, each with ensuite bathroom. Beautiful patio overlooking city and bay and also loved the natural pool on the other side of the home. Kitchen fully equipped, having onsite clothes washer and dryer was helpful. Also staff was so helpful with cleaning and other details.
I would have liked cloth napkins to use for dining! We used paper towels...not my preference.
